Smells on rides

One smell I actually don't like is that gas engine exhaust smell when waiting in line at Autopia. They should really look into switching those cars to electric or something.

The Wikipedia article on Autopia claims that the CMs working there get extra pay for being subjected to the hazardous environment. Basically those things sound like they have carbureted engines without any kind of emissions controls. That smell is almost certainly unburned fuel. If they retrofitted them with modern fuel-injected engines, most of the issues would go away. I've stood near the exhaust of a modern car with emissions controls, and it doesn't smell anything once the engine and exhaust are properly warmed up.

If they do anything, they might remove the ride entirely since the sponsorship is gone.
