When we were on the Dream last February I could not get over how wonderful the entire boat smelled. I wish I had words to describe it - the best I can do is to say it smelled clean and sweet with floral undertones. It was not heavy, or overwhelming, just pleasant. Does anyone know if they use something to make it all smell that wonderful :scratchin- I would love to duplicate it in my home!

I swear I am not crazy, (well not clinically anyway :crazy2:) I hope someone else noticed too!

I bet you like wine... you're in touch with a pertinent skill for wine tasting.

It is not a guess. Flowerbomb = Disney Fantasy

Hopefully someone out there can back me up on this.

I haven't been on the Fantasy yet but I had to google Flowerbomb after reading this. It sounds great and gets amazing reviews! I'm going to order a sample from Sephora. Thanks! :thumbsup2

Huh, so is it pumped into the ventilation system? It smells wonderful in every nook and cranny of the ship! I have not been on the Fantasy yet, the smell I fell in love with was on the Dream- are they both the same? And how did you come to know that was what it was? I asked tons of cast members while we were on board and they all looked at me like I was crazy.

I know what you mean. I was just at Disney World and the BoardWalk Inn had the same smell. They must use the same cleaning products.

All I can find is perfume? Is there a home line? I don't think I can spray my house with $100 perfume!

I think what we're all wondering is how exactly do you know this? I'm not saying you're wrong, just curious where you got the name Flowerbomb.

I stopped in at our mall today and sniffed a sample- while it does smell very close it is not quite the same. It could be that the ocean air plus the cleaning products all mix together with the scent to make that magical smell? I guess all I can to to get my fix is take more cruises- shucks! LOL

If it's like walking into the Venetian, Las Vegas, they pump that stuff into the air ducts. I doubt it's someone spraying perfume in the vents, more like a scent mixed in a huge vat. Wish I invented that stuff and the entire idea. :thumbsup2

Going on the Dream next Oct so I'll take notice. Just got off the Fantasy and that was NOT the fragrance we got at times:lmao: I also have a strong sense of smell and other than moments of the above, I didn't smell anything one way or another.

When we stayed at the Boardwalk at WDW, as soon as I walked into the room, it smelled "seashore musty" but in a good way. I grew up at the Jersey Shore, and know and love that smell! I told DH that I've never smelled anything bad at our stays, so they had to do this on purpose! They think of all the details::yes::

Now if they could take the smell when you walk down Main Street and pipe it into the ships, that would be awesome.:cloud9:

I thought I was crazy but the Magic has a "smell' also.
When we boarded the boat i inhaled and said to my hubby oh that familiar smell, Just like I remember. He looked at me liked I was completely insane.

But it does have its own smell and I love it!!! Lol
