Costco has a great price for the food for this plan....anyone tried this one...i need a jump start....too busy with kids....I am a retired athlete who is now spending all of my time coaching my kids....the idea of grabbing a snack already packed is appealing...thanks

I've never heard of this. If it works for you I guess...
Cookie Diet sounds strange to me and I'm wondering what nutrition is included in this. I am imagining here that there is more to it than cookie dough?
I'm wondering if you are going to give it a try. If so, let us know what you think.

Personally, it's too gimicky for my taste. But- if it works for someone then that is awesome. I personally like the healthy no gimick approach. All that is really needed is to calorie count and exercise. Calories in and calories out.

You might lose a few pounds on the "cookie" diet, but honestly who is gonna stick to that forever?? As soon as you begin eating regular again the weight will come back. Just stick to eating healthy, and moving your body!

Was this the one in this weeks People...

It was one of the girls that had lost 1/2 her size????????

I have been doing it and have lost over 60 pounds. It works for me. I think everyone is different as to what works for you. It isn't easy but nothing is.

Hi,

This is an interesting perspective. Thank you everyone for sharing this useful information.

You probably have heard of the cookie diet and you probably wondered to yourself how on earth it works. The Cookie Diet was designed to be as simple as possible. Instead of eating lunch and breakfast, you eat six of Dr. Siegal's diet cookies throughout the day whenever you feel hungry. The cookies help to keep the dieter on track because every single time a dieter feels even a sudden urge of hunger they are instructed to eat one of Dr. Siegal's cookies.

Goal setting is considered to be one of the most beneficial and useful ways to lose weight for a long period of time. Good luck in your quest to lose weight. Remember to always consult with your doctor before making any changes related to your health.

What happens when you hit your target weight and stop eating the cookies?
