Anyone know which Disney resort is the smallest after POFQ? Just curious. I have stayed at POFQ and loved it, but may consider trying another resort. I loved that everything was close and we didn't have to walk forever for all the amenities.

there is not another moderate that small.

WL is for me even better - everything is in one building.

same for BC.- even the restaurants - which is nice when it is raining.

if you want something cheaper POP.

avoid Polyn, GF, SSR and OKW.

Why avoid Poly? Overall it isn't far to anything there.

POFQ is the small resort, by a long shot. We have stayed at the other mods, most of the deluxe hotels and Pop Century...POFQ is the smallest by far. It's our favorite resort for most stays.

All the rest of them are BIG. Lots of rooms, and lots of space. And lots of walking (or taking buses) to get from one part of the resort to the other.

If you're meaning not as spread-out, probably The Contemporary would be the next smallest (because most of it is up & down, instead of spread out to many buildings over acres of land. Though there are some lower buildings spread out there, too. And there's a lot of rooms there, but since it is so many floors, the rooms are in a more compact area.) If you book in the main building or the DVC tower, then all the services are close there in the main building.

I was considering the BC. It is only for two nights before our cruise 11/23. I am hoping one of those two nights will be a date for MVMCP. I do not want to go to a value resort because my kids love the pool slides so much.

I guess you are right; i mean not spread out over acres of land. I have looked at some of the DVC properties and those are so spread out it would be annoying for just a couple of nights.

when I was young - yes Polyn was not far to anything - now that have problems with my knee and ankle - compared to a resort where everything is under one roof - the Poly can be a walk.

just depends upon your point of view.
