Smallest Add on??

We were told when we visited our guide in January that if we added on, it would be add on to the same contract and given the same use year. Im wondering now what is the smallest you can add on points wise?

Has anyone ever done this?

If you add on through Disney (i.e. not a resale) the minimum is 25 points. We did this, and we were given the same use year

There are also sometimes incentive schemes which require a different specific minimum add on purchase.
