Small World Vacations

Has anyone used them before? I asked for a quote from them (gave me a exact quote that I found on the Disney website). Doesn't seem like they found any bargins for me. Maybe it's still to early (going in December). I'm just sooooo excited about going to Disney and read alot of people getting great deals. I don't want to bug this poor woman but wonder if I should deal with the Disney people directly? Any advice? I don't belong to AAA either.

I booked our trip with Marion of SWV. She was great. She did all my ADR's for me, saving me all the long distance time and charges. When there was a code released that applied to my dates she changed my ressie right away (I didn't have to tell her too!)
You won't necessarily save any money over dealing with Disney direct but you should get extra service.

I was told by them, that they are no different than Disney. If Disney releases a code you can use it with them or with Disney. I found them useless for what I wanted. I would rather do the stuff myself and save soem money. I ended up going with AAA and doing my own air.

You might want to consider getting AAA. I don't have a car, but I do have AAA just for the deals and discounts. It saves me several hundred dollars each year, mainly at Disney. Not bad for a membership program that costs me $59.

I have used SW the past 2 years. Missy is great. They get the same codes that you do for discounts. Missy did all my ADRs. I gave her the list of restaurants and she did the rest. I waited to plan my days until I found out where we would eat. It is a bit early for discounts or codes for December.

I used SWV for my current Disney trip and we got Missy too. She was very helpful and told me the same thing that they deal directly with Disney and they automatically apply any specials/codes depending on your travel dates. She was very helpful and answered my plethora of questions and was very quick replying even via email.

I have used Jodie at Small World for the last 5 years. If there is a discount for your time frame, they will do their best to get it for you. It beats the heck out of me calling Disney every time there is a potential code that can be applied. When one comes out, I am comfortable that Jodie is on the phone first thing with Disney to apply it to my reservation. (She did this recently when the codes for free hoppers/water parks came out) The only discount that they can not book is a AAA PACKAGE...that has to be booked with a AAA travel agent. (they can book room only reservations with a AAA discount).

Yes, you can get the same things from dealing with Disney directly. But that would require you to be constantly on the internet and phone with Disney watching for discounts...why do this when they will do it for you!

I've been using Marion as well for years. I love that I don't have to code watch, she does it for me It doesn't cost me anything more to use her and she's gotten me some ressies over the years that I was not able to make on my own. I can't praise her enough.

Join AAA...that is my advice! You will save more than what you pay out! Not to mention all the other extra little perks with travel. Also nice to have when you have car problems.

It took 24 hours for me but says on their website that it can take up to 3 business days. I'd even call Disney direct as they give you the same deal!!!! I've booked with Small World and through Disney and think that I"m going to just deal with the CM at Disney (I haven't put down my deposit yet).
