Small world rehab

Any further news on this yet? We are going to the world for three weeks in July this year. Its a big family vacation with 18 of us going. My parents will be heartbroken if Small World isn't open as they have such good memories of it

Epcot

The Wonders of Life Pavilion in Epcot will operate on a greatly reduced schedule beginning January 5, 2004. Body Wars, Cranium Command and the Making of Me will be available during periods of peak attendance. The quick service dining and merchandise locations in the pavilion will cease operations.

Magic Kingdom

ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter is closed and will reopen mid-late 2004 as Stitch's Great Escape! Carousel of Progress is open while Alien Encounter is being renovated.

Downtown Disney

Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba will be dark (closed) - June 20 to July 5.

I beleive the reason the question came back is this rumor which has appear on Screamscape (from which this quote is taken) and other rumor sites:

"The Orlando Sentinel has confirmed an earlier rumor that It’s A Small World would close later this year for a multi-million dollar rehab that would involve all new boats, new lighting and audio. We had also heard that they may swap the current Exit and Entrance ramps to improve the flow of foot traffic and congestion between Small World and Peter Pan as well as convert the old Fantasyland Skyway building into a new stroller parking area... a kind of valet parking concept for Disney rented strollers. The rumored dates for this extensive rehab were June 7th, 2004 until March 18th, 2005, but those have yet to be confirmed by Disney. "
