The excitement is building as its only a week now til we sent off on our next jaunt to France which will of course include DLP.:dance3:

The party will consist of me, DH and DD (7)

We leave next Sunday (so by this time next week hopefully everything should be packed and I'll be relaxing and trying to calm myself down):rotfl:

We are driving down from home in Bolton to Ashford where we are staying in Travel Lodge over night.
We then want to catch a very early train through the tunnel as we have a long drive ahead.
We are spending 5 nights camping in the Loire Valley (with Keycamp where the tents are all set up ready).
Whilst we are here we want to spend some time visiting the chateau including possibly Usse which is the chateau on which the story of Sleeping Beauty is based.princess:

We also celebrate our silver wedding anniversary whilst here so want to have a nice meal somewhere on that day. We are hoping the restaurant at the Chateau in Chambord is still there as we had a wonderful meal there about 10 years ago- in the grounds of the chateau sat outside in the evening overlooking the castle.

Most people celebrate their Silver Wedding with a party or exotic trip but most dont have a 7 year old as well!!!!!! so we decided to have a holiday visting some places weve been before and really liked (including DLP of course):cheer2: :cheer2:

On Saturday we are then going to Paris for 2 nights (again camping with Keycamp just outside Paris).

As it is a long and confusing drive to Camping International from the Loire we are still considering going via DLP and leaving the car there and continuing our journey by RER. (Travelling very light with only the minimum of essentials)

If we do that we will go into DLP to buy our annual passes. We bought day tickets last time we were there so will go in, sort out the passes and depending on the weather and time of day we will perhaps have a meal or just a stroll round rather than trying to do any rides.

We will probably go to the campsite and then back into Paris to see Paris by night and will then spend Sunday there as well.

As we spent a few days in Paris earlier this year we dont necessarily want to rush round seeing everything but just stroll round and take it all in. If the weathers nice just sit in Jardin des Tuileries or Jardin de Luxembourg or in a pavement cafe and watch the world go by.

Monday we then move to DLP. Assuming we dont have the car we will just get up early and get the RER (Yes I know it means going through Paris on the metro in rush hour but its better than driving round Paris in the rush hour!!!!)

We are staying at Holiday Inn for 2 nights.

We hope to get there early Monday and also spend Tuesday and most of Wednesday in the parks. As we are getting APs we want to take advantage of EMH and also see Fantillusion and fireworks as we havent seen these yet at DLP.

We dont really have an itinerary as such for what we want to do but want to try and make it more relaxing than at Easter.

We have several rides we def want to do - POC, Buzz, BTM, Cars, Small World (of course) HSM show, POC again, POC again, POC again ....... but other than that we will see how the mood takes us.

We want to try and look for some of the secrets and appreciate the beauty of the park rather than just dashing from ride to ride.

We are trying to decide where to eat but want to leave it open to be able to decide at the time- it may depend on how much money we have spent the previous week.

We really enjoyed our meal at Walts last time so may eat here again. We also fancy trying one of the hotel restaurants perhaps in Newport Bay or New York or may go to Blue Lagoon.

Gosh this is only a pre trippie so sorry its so long its just we're getting excited :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I bet you're getting excited! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Sounds like you have a wonderful holiday planned. :thumbsup2

Congratulations on your silver wedding, I hope you have a very special day.

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary:flower3:

Hope you have a lovely holiday :goodvibes we will be there at the same time

Its getting closer and closer.
:cheer2: :cheer2:

I finished work yesterday (Hurray!!!) and so am spending today shopping, cleaning and trying to sort out everything.

The trouble with doing a combined holiday is there seems so much we need to take. for when we are in on the campsite- food, bedding, towels, toys as well as clothes (for hot weather, wet weather and anything in between.

As we are leaving DSs at home Ive had to stock up on food for them as well and leave the house clean and tidy for them so that hopefully they will be encouraged to have it clean and tidy for us when we get home:rotfl2:

DD finishes school this afternoon and DH is hoping for an early get away from work. Then it will really feel like holiday time.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Have a fantastic holiday and a magical wedding anniversary
