Small World AND Dumbo closed for rehab during our trip!!!

Just read in Mousesavers newsletter that Dumbo will be closed for rehab 1/10/05 to 2/12/05 - our whole vacation

With that on top of It's a Small World being closed we are missing our on some real "classics"

Astro Orbiter will be closed too - so I guess it's Aladdin's carpets for us!

We are sad because of the rehabs for our trip also but look on the bright side - you HAVE to go back now

Aladin's Carpets will be fun for your family. Also check out Triceratop Spin, which is imilar, in Animal Kingdom. It's not a classic, but kids do enjoy it.

I'm disappointed, too, that we will miss It's a Small World, but my kids will still be able to ride Dumbo...

Wow, both Small World and Dumbo closed...at the same time?! My kids would be devistated! At least there are some other old reliables open!

I second that emotion, only for it's a small world. The first time my wife and I went on the ride there was some type of malfunction and the boats got backed up to a point where we were stuck in the same spot for 25 minutes! I was close to getting out of the boat and swimming to the end.

Needless to say, we've only been on the ride one time since (and in two days it will be our 20th visit) and that time was because it was poring and we wanted to get out of the rain.

Well, they have to close them sometime to keep them up, and January IS the slowest time of the year. At least you'll get the tradeoffs of short lines and no crowds!

I am SO glad that Small World will be closed for my December trip!!! My sister loves to torture me by getting me on that and since our mom will be there with us I know my mom would want to do IASW. Too bad about Dumbo...being open during my trip. Now I'll have to bring my son. I really don't mind Dumbo too much as long as we go very first thing, so I will survive!

I wonder when Small World will reopen? So far, it just says "spring 2005".

I hope that means EARLY spring
