Hi! I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for small promotional items that I could pass out at my son's daycare to all of the families. Something Disney themed that is inexpensive but something families would be happy to get.

I'm not sure I understand, what sort of small "Disney themed" promotional tems are you looking for? And, why would you be passing them out at your son's daycare?

When you say promotional items I think of pens, calendars, and magnets with business names or business cards stuck to them. I can't imagine any of these things would be allowed to be "Disney Themed" I could just see my husband, a plumber, handing out Mickey Mouse pens emblazoned with "Mikey's Plumbing and Heating, no Goofy's here":rotfl: ???? Disney would absolutely have NONE of it if they caught wind...

I've been thinking of what I could bring back from Disney for the kids at daycare. Something inexpensive as I would be buying about 10 of them. Her age group is 2 - 3 years old. Any ideas?

MudBud - there is a sale on the Disney Store site right now...If you actually buy while you are at Disney, it may be pretty expensive. You could buy disney souvenirs ahead of time and then have her pass them out when she comes back.

I just bought my daughter a pair of sunglasses for $2.99 for the trip online. They had one girl pair and one boy pair on sale - if you were looking for something in that price range. They also had some jewelry on sale - maybe a trinket necklace for the teacher?

It may save you a little...

Most trips, we buy a few bags of the Mickey shaped pretzels for our daughters to bring in to school for snack to share with the kids. Another inexpensive item would be the plastic mickey shaped straws. They are about 50 cents each and can usually be found at food court registers as well as some quick service places. They also sell bunches of Mickey shaped lollipops for a few dollars. I think you get maybe 5 or 6 in a bunch? There might be princess ones as well.

We also do the mickey shaped straws. They are so cute and cheap. Also, if you get a cute sticker or coloring sheet ask for extras. They are very nice about it. They also have Duffy bears to color in the Epcot stations. They wouldn't have a problem giving you extras. Think of it as advertising for Disney!

I love those Mickey straws and they were a huge hit with my class. I found them at the Columbia Harbour House in MK. I also brought back a bag of Mickey shaped suckers. They're in a greenish bag. There's about 10-12 for $6.

I would also advocate actually shopping before your trip for stickers or pencils. I found character shaped silly bands, too. Pencils and pens are sold in packs at the gift shops but they're expensive. If you shop around before you go, you'll find exactly what you want.

Good luck!

Don't know if you are on the DDP or not, but when we went a couple of years ago on free dining, we used excess snack credits to get mickey krispie treats for all of the kids on DD's gymnastics team.
They were a huge hit, and an unexpected surprise.

The mickey straws are a great thing to get too. We brought those back for all of the grandkids last year. They loved them!

I used to ask for extra mickey stickers at the stores, then saved the napkin back when they were printerd:( But u could do the disney themed snacks and the stickers and walmarts here in fl have postcards from disney cheap your kids could sign the cards and pass them out when back! if you have character meals planned u could get the cards signed a few each meal and pass them out!

I would also get something a little nicer for the teachers like a rice krispie treat or christmas ornament!

pressed pennies are also cute! could hubby drill hole thru and make a key chain or necklace?

another fun thing is to take a pic of child holding a sheet with each childs name on it in front of one of the statures at all star movies, or the castle, epcot spaceship earth! etc.
