Small Lockable Office Chair Suggestions Needed

Good evening everyone,

Have any of you ever seen or owned a lockable small office chair with armrests? Armrests are a must. My elderly Dad and I would both benefit safety wise from such a chair. We would literally need to be able to lock it like brakes on a wheelchair so it doesn't move. It would probably need to be something we could order on Amazon or Walmart, possibly Costco or Ikea so we could get it put together and return if needed. Staples would work too.

Hi! Many office desk chairs have wheels that can be replaced. The metal pole that holds the wheels in is often the same size. You may be able to just order locking wheels like these to replace any wheels.

In the ones pictured here, the brake is the lever in the top right corner.

Whatever you do don't ever buy a Costway Office Chair because their casters pop off easily and when my mom bought my family's Costway chair we tried to call Costway directly and asked for replacement casters they told us they couldn't send them and so we got new casters from Amazon and they have never ever fallen off the chair since. You might also look at The Home Depot for sales on office chairs or try Lowes because they have office chairs sometimes on sale for a great price. But Mom bought our family's office chair from OfficeMax which you can also try as well
