I will be bringing my camera bag to Dis, complete with my nikon d90 18-200 lens, small video camera extra memory cards, point and shoots etc... While in the park, I will have a backpack. I don't want to carry a camera bag too, so I am looking for something small to put my Nikon in for protection and I will put it in my backpack when not in use. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Erin

I would only store an SLR in a camera bag. I'd get a smaller camera bag or at camera stores they sell microfiber velcro cloths that can fasten around equipment. I'd take a gallon ziplock back if you're planning on doing any water rides. I hope this helps.

I've taken the same camera and lens as you a few times now, and the last trip I got an AmazonBasics backpack for carrying the camera and some other things I may have wanted (water, jacket, wallet, cell phone, ticket, KTTW, etc). I can recommend it as a nice bag that wasn't uncomfortable to carry. That might be a happy medium for you. You can check it out here. I really enjoy this bag.

They have other styles here. They're quite reasonably priced and work well.

Hope that helps!

I keep a Lenscoat Bodybag on my DSLR as well as a comfy strap. I don't carry a camera bag most of the time at WDW, I have my camera out on me so I have it ready when I want it.
