Just wondering what people use for a small backpack or sling bag?
I'm after recommendations. I think we want to transition from our larger backpack to something smaller, more compact.

We usually take two very small umbrellas, 1 drink bottle and a few snacks for the kids and our phones.

Also can anyone recommend any bottle holders? Sometimes we would like to go without everything and just take our water bottle and phone. Looking for options for that.

I've carried many slings in the Parks, but this brand has become my fave for a Park sling/hip pack (it's convertible), and I also carry their regular bag sling on a daily basis.

I also like Kavu for in the parks. Their crossbody sling bags (they have all sizes) are great!

I use my loungefly backpacks. They’re small, but I can fit a couple bottles of water, sunscreen, my wallet, and about 30 other little “necessities” for the parks (a small first aid kit, chargers, etc).

I've carried a wide variety but what I've settled on the last few years is light, sling, somewhat repels water, a big pocket to slide my phone inside, zipper safety and comfortable to wear in front of me. I have one for each type trip ~ Halloween, Christmas, Spring ~ might need a Summer one! You can get lots of different patterns in this style. I first saw someone at WDW with one and then hunted my own. So comfortable no matter the weather and fabric is soft!

I switched to a Jansport mini backpack and it is perfect for me. I'm shocked at how much I can cram into it if need be. It easily fits my standard necessities.

I use a Disney Vera Bradley crossbody. It’s light, easy to carry, fits in the pouch for bags on rides or can be seatbelted to my body.

I carry my wallet, sunscreen, lip balm, hand sanitizer, hand lotion, sunglasses, pins to pixie dust, 2 ponchos, extra hair ties, phone, bandaids, Advil, and probably a few other things I’m not thinking of.

Mine is a different pattern but same style.

I travel with a wristlet that I had made some years back. It would hold everything you mentioned excepting multiple water bottles( a carabinier would work as well). It has the dimensions of a clutch purse and suits my needs in most any time of day or setting. You can find them ready made nowadays.

I just got a cool cross body Reebok sling for 9.00 at Walmart, a bit smaller than the one pictured above in a post and it is cool in that you can unzip the sling part and it becomes a small backpack! I like that it is smaller and more lightweight and I can hold money and valuables across chest.

I use a Vera Bradley sling. It is enough "backpack" looking that my husband will wear it too. It is big enough to carry a water bottle, but small enough that I never felt I was lugging around a full backpack. VB.jpg
