I am looking to add 25 pts. to my SSR contract or buy a small contract resale.

Does anyone know off hand how much Disney is charging right now to add on a small number of pts?

My UY is Feb.....could I get 2009 pts if I add on with Disney?

Would it be better to add on with disney or resale? what are the advantages or disadvantages to each?

If you add on this month at SSR, you should get 2009 points with your February UY.

I think that it is $112.00 per point direct through Disney. I don't believe incentives start until the 50 point level.

With really small contracts, I do think that it is easier to go through Disney because finding one via the resale market is much harder.

And, with so little points, the price difference (since there will be no closing costs with Disney and could be via resale) is not that huge considering that you would have points within a day or two vs. resale that could take months. I figure you only save around $800 going the resale route and that assumes you can find what you want.

no. they'll finance contracts of 50 pts or more. if you buy a 25 pt contract (or 31 pt contract...or 49 pt contract), you have to pay cash.

Yes, and you get 6 months, 0% interest on purchases up to $5000. I am just paying off my add on from last June this month. It was so nice being able to get it then and then pay for it over time.

I was even able to get Disney to wait a month to charge the balance so I got an additional month!
