We are thinking of a small ad on at VGC. We have grown to:love:California! We are thinking of an 80 point ad on, hopefully in 2 40 pt contracts. Questions:
1)How do we contact a guide (we first bought first contract through resale)?
2) Our UY is June, I understand we can receive 2009 points. I understand we are past our banking deadline, but can we work something out so they can still be banked as our first trip would be June 2011? Wait, could we still use 2009 points in 2011 if they could be banked? It still confuses me........

Your 2009 points would expire on June 1 of 2011 if banked into 2010.
You have a guide already. You would need to contact the main DVC number which I think is 1-800-500-3990 and ask who your guide is and get his number.

Are you buying through Disney or resale? If you're buying resale why two separate contracts at the same resort? Wont you have to pay two closing cost? Im kinda new to this :flower3: so maybe I missed something. I would check into doing an add on resale!

direct add-ons don't have closing costs. VGC is a new resort so direct pricing (especially for smaller contracts) is probably less than or comparable to resale prices...

Oh I see, so even if you by resale first, u can add on, through Disney, with no closing cost? Good to know, thanks~:thumbsup2

Yes, we are thinking buying direct through Disney. 2 small contracts just seems to make the most sense to us. Any other words of wisdom?
Can anyone look into their crystal ball and see any inew ncentives in the near future?:confused:

Good luck and congratulations. Just remember, that if you do decide to buy, keep an eye on the incentives. If a better one comes out before your contract has offiically closed, Disney is very good at letting you re-write the contracts.

That is what I did last year and it worked out great. Also, do you own a Disney Visa? If so, you can put up to $5000 of your purchase on it and get 6 months, 0% interest? Another thing we did for our 50 point add on at BLt last June. Even though we could have paid it off, it was great spreading it out.

Thanks, we do have a Disney Visa and we have thought of using it for down payment. I think we just need to work out all the kinks and get this figured out before we call our guide!
We stayed in a regular hotel room at GC with a theme park view last year (at this exact time) and we loved it!!!!!!Hands down the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. In fact, if we ever ask our DD6 where she would like to go for vacation? The answer is always the GRAND CALIFORNIAN! (Mine too)
