Sm Fp Distribution Location?

We will be arriving at DL for opening on 6/22. My plan is for my DH to beeline it to SM and grab FP for the group, i head to Peter and get in line for us. How far off from the castle is the distribution. It has been 5 years since i have been to DL, but I thought SM entrance could be seen from the statue, but the map does not make it look that way. I want us to all ride the ride together.

You can't see SM from the Partners Statue. it's way in the back of TL. The FP distribution is just to the right of the entrance to the que. It takes me about 7-10 minutes going at a very brisk walk to get from Main St. to Space (get the FP) and then meet my party in FL. HTH!

Well, it sounds like we will stick to that plan then. DH will take off to SM and me, DD9 AND DS1 (he will be one on Friday...) will head to Peter at a slower, but still quick pace. I do not want to be one of those who run little children over with my stroller. NOT FUN to me. By the time we park to stroller and get in line he should be showing up to enter the line with us. That should work. Be aware some things do not go exactly according to plan, as the last two times we did this something unusual happened. The first time they were slow getting the FP machines going at park opening and I had to wait to get our FPs and ended up missing PP. The second time they had a ceremony setup around the castle and castle access to Fantasyland was blocked. So we had to cirle around to PP. And then, PP was broken down at park opening so we had to do Matterhorn first and come back to PP which opened up about 10 minutes late that day.

i have been playing around with ridemax and have a few plans going

one thing is the parking...we are daytrippers. I plan to have DH drop me off at guest drop off with 2 kids (8:15) while he parks. What do you think? should he drop me off earlier? what is a good plan, time wise for this. we are not experts with getting around DLR. following the signs is our only guidance right now. fyi...we are not going to nemo

Sorry but it looks like I am too late to answer this now by your June 22 visit. I have been out of Internet range (gasp!) the last few days on vacation.
