Day 4- June 24th Sunday
Early Entry at MGM. Wanted to be first in the park. Got up at 6am. Ryan was dragging and made us miss the first boat over to MGM. It was 7AM. So we decided to walk over. It was a gorgeous morning. The sun was out and it wasnt hot yet. We arrived at MGM around 7:30. Of course they were already letting people in. Early entry turned into a bust for us. We went and got a FP for WWTBAM first (the first show was at 9:10, which we didnt need, the theatre still had room in it at show time). Ate at Starring Rolls. Over to RnR. Broke down, waited 5 minutes when they said it was suspended indefinitely. Got a FP for RnR. Went over to ToT along with everyone else. Had a 20-minute wait. By this time it was ready to go over to WWTBAM. So early entry we got 1 ride accomplished. Went back to RnR to see if it was working again. NO! Over to Sounds Dangerous, but we noticed they were doing an Indiana Jones show. But I thought the show time was 11:10. Nope, they had an early show. Should have checked the schedule posted on the sign that we had walked by 3 times already that day. But we got in. We were seated all the way on the right. Couldnt see the ending finally as good as I would have liked but they were OK seats.
Where we had such a small breakfast I was already ready for lunch. Went over to Sci- Fi Dine Inn Theatre. We had PS for 12:20, but I couldnt wait that long. It was 11:15. They seated us no problem. Only had a 2-minute wait. What a nice place. I really liked it. It was fun. The food was OK. But the surroundings were the best. The rest of the day went better. Finally got to ride RnR, twice I might add. Did millionaire again, saw Muppets (A classic, my personal favorite), and other rides. Also we got to see them film what looked like a commercial for a parade. They had blocked off part of Sunset Blvd and had a mini-parade going and the film crew and everything. It was really neat.
It was 5PM when we decided to leave MGM. We had PS for dinner at California Grill, but after yesterdays long trip trying to get form WL to BC, we decided we didnt want to do that. So we canceled our PS for California Grill and made PS for San Angel at 8:15PM. We got cleaned up and walked to Epcot from the BC. Dinner at San Angel was good, not great though. It was a nice atmosphere. This was our most expensive dinner of the trip. Only because I had 2 margaritas at $7.25 each and Ryan had a beer. Total for dinner including tip was $80. Would I go there again? Yes. But probably for lunch and not dinner.
We got out of dinner just in time to see Illuminations. We didnt stop and watch. We walked to the International Gateway while we watched. Didnt want to have to fight the crowds when the show was over. So we watched what we could from a spot near the exit. We headed back over to the BC. We were finally going to make it swimming, but as we walked by the quiet pool it was occupied by a couple of families. We are big people and self-conscious about our bodies, so we decided just to rest in the room and go to bed early.
