Slow Walkers

I am a fast walker and I hate being stuck behind a slow walker.

IMHO I just want to get where I want to go. Sometimes when I am stuck behind a slow walker I just want to push them to hurry them up

My late DH walked like you do - so I quit walking with him.. LOL I could never understand why he was in such a "rush"..

So - if I'm in your way, feel free to push me to the side (although I do try not to block anyones way)..

I'm a self admitted slow walker! It drives me nuts when I'm with fast people. I'm 4'10" and my boyfriend is 6'4". I take three steps for every one of his. When we are walking, I have to jog to keep up. It's not that I move my legs slower than everybody else, I just have to take more steps!

I know what you mean! I'm 5'1" and my DH is 6' and we are both fast walkers. But keeping up with him is impossible. I also have to jog to keep up with him. I hate that.

Slow walkers used to annoy me a great deal, too. My opinion softened when I went through chemo. I wore a wig and looked good, so nobody would look at me and see anything wrong, and it was important to me to stick to a normal routine as much as possible. But every joint in my body just screamed, and some days I was just hoping I'd have the strength to walk to my car. So, I'm sure my slow walking annoyed somebody.

My husband has long strides too. I always joke that I walk 3 steps behind and to the left like a good little wifey -- that slows him down. When he's mad at me, though, he walks fast on purpose, which, of course, slows me down even more.

Slow walker here. Also go the speed limit. Decided nothing was more important than getting somewhere in one piece.
My DH is 6'2", I'm 5'4" so he generally leaves me behind except at rope drop where I leave him in the dust. I do try to stay to the right and leave as much room on the sidewalk for those faster than me.

Fast walker here! i have long legs, but I suppose I could slow down...nah! I think slower people should stay to the right, just like on the expressway!
