I called Guest Services and this is what they confirmed to me as being down in September.
1. Dudley (and they did say it was being rehabbed)
2. Storm Force (closed weekdays, open weekends)
3. Triceratops Discovery (closed september and actually now also)
Thats 3. The list of 11 things open is a bit incomplete. You forgot Dueling Dragons and thats 2 rides. Popeye, Me Ship Olive, Discovery Center, Pteranodon Flyers, Camp Jurassic. I'm sure I'm missing a few of the other play areas/attractions.
When planning a themepark vacation I always expect when going off season to have something(s) down its just the way it is. I totally agree that it does disappoint me to a degree but I still understand and dont allow it to dictate the outcome of my vacation before I even get there. Also keep in mind things change like the wind and what you are hearing now hasnt been announced officially.
In my mind the biggies minus Dudley will all still be available to enjoy! That is if Guest Services is correct.
I hope you all have a great vacation and I hope it doesnt come to pass that too many rides/attractions will be down while you are there.
I did ask about Popeye and they said it will not be down in september.
