I love it, but nobody in my family does, so I don't have it at home. When we go out to a mexican resturant, everyone gives theirs to me, so I get lots of extra!

love it way too much (but i also love avacados). when dd was a tiny thing we used to buy 'broccamoli' (can't find it anywhere now)-same taste and consistency but made out of broccoli.

I make a great guacamole. I leave it very chunky.

Chop a ripe Avocado add red onion, lemon or lime juice & some hot salsa I like the Trader Joe's . Salt & pepper & serve with Chips.

if you want to hyper speed up ripening avacados-set them on the counter next to a very ripe banana (still in the peel). i had heard of this, but never tried it. a week ago i bought a couple of very firm avacados and not thinking set them next to the bananas-YE GODS! the next morning they were crazy ripe.

I had to vote "other" b/c while I love guacamole, they're not all the same and some just plain suck.

My d-sil makes AWESOME guacamole that my kids will eat off the spoon, but I bought some pre-packaged stuff from a store 2 yrs ago (while pregnant and craving it) and was crying b/c it taked like poo.
I will Never forget how that stuff tasted

99% of the time I love whatever kind a restaurant serves, and I'll order it. I just hate paying the $.99 extra for a tiny bowl of guacamole.

I love guacamole! My friends parents are hispanic and they make the best guacamole I've ever tasted in my whole entire life!!!!! It is just the yummiest! Thanks ... now I'm craving it!!!!!

Yep, it's horrid. The only exception is Sam's Club deli. A friend of ours brought it for a potluck, and we all thought it was homemade until she spilled the beans! And it's not the kind they make homemade on sight either. It's prepackaged with a manufacturer. Go figure!

I love guacamole, but only the homemade kind! Store bought is gross--all slimy and bland. I like to make Rick Bayless' guacamole recipe from the book "Mexico: One Plate at a Time."

Love it! I make my own, but I also enjoy guac at restaurants. I never tried the packaged stuff and now I doubt I ever will!
