What is your opinion of banana bread???


I love banana bread, especially my own
I love the way it smells while I'm baking it , and I love the way it tastes once it's done
It's definitly one of my all time favorites!!!

What a GREAT comfort food!

When I lived in Jacksonville, FL, there was a little cafe near where I worked that had grilled banana bread! It was so good. They took a slice, buttered both sides and grilled it! (kinda like grilled cheese)

No nuts for me though, as I'm allergic!

When I don't eat the bananas in a timely manner, DW will make banana nut bread, rather than throw them out. Yummy!

I have to admit the smell and taste of warm/baked bananas doesn't do a thing for me. I like a good banana, but I don't like them mixed with anything. It doesn't even smell good to me
