I voted none. I've tried Original Chicken out on the family, but I don't think they enjoyed it.

They prefer my homemade concoction - mostly flour, salt, pepper, Season-All and Old Bay on chicken tenderloins with a touch of cooking spray.

I’ve never personally used Shake N Bake. My mother used to in the 70s and 80s. On the rare occasions I bread something, I use plain or panko bread crumbs and my own seasonings.

I see it in the bread aisle next to the crumbs and stuffing. I’m not sure if there’s a low sodium version.

I was in LA on vacation in early October 1987. There was a series of minor earthquakes during a heat wave. Some TV and newspaper reports called it Shake & Bake.

So funny you posted this today. Just this morning, I saw a recipe on Facebook of shake-n-bake chicken in the air fryer and I want to try it. I don't use shake-n-bake too often - as I just don't prefer to prepare chicken or pork that way - but my husband loves it, so I'm going to make this recipe soon.

I hadn’t used or even thought about shake ‘n bake until I was talking with a friend who said he made pork chops with it. I of course went out and bought some. Original pork and Parmesan.

I think Shake and Bake pork chops might have been one of the first things I learned to make! I'm pretty sure my mom bought the original flavor.

That said, I don't actually use it now. DH has to eat low sodium, low carb, etc. - and I never thought to look for it. If I even realized they still made it, I just assumed it was full of stuff he couldn't have.

Don't use it. I rarely bake pork or chicken, and if I do I usually marinated it but not coat it with anything.

Used it several years ago but like others don't know if they still make it. If you read the ingredient list of most prepared seasonings, salt is the first item. Cutting down on added salt does far more to make for healthier eating then most other things you can do. Salt doesn't make food taste better, but makes it taste salty.

I learned how to make my own shake & bake and love the concept. Have never used the actual brand.

I don't care for the flavor of it. I do my own breading/coating if I'm going to use it.

I wish we got that many different kinds here.

Yes I use the crispy one and the Italian one but haven’t seen that one for awhile.

For some reason it stays wet maybe the conversion part of my oven.

I have never used it. If I want to bread meat, I make my own breading.

Not Shake-n-Bake. These are both for the regular, chicken kind.

Didn't know they even still made Shake N Bake. My mom used to buy it once in a while but that was literally 50 years ago. My wife is a "from scratch" cook, so she's never used it in our 40 years of marriage. And I have to admit I did buy Hamburger Helper ONCE, took twice as long to fix as just browning some beef, boiling the noodles at the same time, and pouring some kind of Campbells soup on the cooked beef and combining the two.
