I have Amazon Music on my phone, but I very rarely use it. I use the radio or CD player in my car.

I have SiriusXM for my music app. I've called them several times, threatening to cancel the service if they don't lower the price. ;)

My new car had a 90 day free trial of Sirius. Not interested in paying to hear music so I let it expire. They constantly send me emails 'reminding' me the trial has ended and for something like $4/month I can return............nope still no interest. Seems like it might be a good feature if you travel a lot out of town. For local driving, I already know the radio stations I like to listen to.

I have Spotify, Apple Music and iHeart Radio on my phone. I also have TuneIn Radio which broadcasts radio shows live. I don't listen to any of them often. I sometimes also stream NPR.

I listen to music on Spotify mostly, but through my echo dot Alexa devices in the kitchen and family room. Used to listen on Amazon until they started messing with my play lists by adding songs they wanted me to listen to. Also have sirrus XM and listen to that in the car.

I have Amazon Music on phone though rarely used on my phone. I use Amazon Music on my Echo at home and call out a particular song one in awhile if I want to hear a specific song. Any song seems to be there. I have Sirius/XM on my phone though mostly use that in the car, a choice on the radio there. It's either Sirius in the car or talk/news radio, WGN or CNN.

No play lists that I've made.

Amazon and Pandora right now. We dropped SiriusXM in our cars once the subscription ran out. Too pricey at this point.

Kids give Spotify to DH as Christmas gift. He loves it. When we go grocery store shopping, I go into store and he sits in car listening to music.

Amazon music, I got a three month free trial. Just found out the other day, you can now get one audio book a month with it. So I'll listen to that for even just for the book for the next few months.

And speaking of audio books, with spotify you can get upto 15 hours a month listening time for audiobooks. So that's maybe 1 - 1 1/2 adult books or 57 kids books. hours do not carry over. I will listen to a book, say 8.5 hours. Then wait until close to month end, begin a new book, get new monthly bucket of hours and finish the second book.

Not overselling it; Radio Garden is about the coolest thing on the internet. Spin the globe, pick a station, there are thousands. I like to search by genre - I've found some real gems that way. You won't find the big corporate stations on here, but you will find many of the smaller obscure radio stations. Most of the music is "iPod shuffle" format where they just play music, no on-air personalities or commercials.

Did I mention it's free?

Yesterday, I saw on Instagram, that Spotify has a Disney Christmas album. When I looked at the ad for it, it looks like a pretty good album. I didn’t have Spotify so I decided to put it on my phone so I could listen to this in my car. After I did this, I put it in a folder with my other music apps. This led me to wonder which music apps does everyone have on their phone or tablet. Give us your musical answer today……..

Which music apps do you have on your phone or tablet?
(multiple-choice)

* There’s a lot of music apps out there, so I can’t list them all, but I did put the top ones in the poll.

For Me….. The music apps that I have on my phone are SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify, Amazon, music, and iHeartRadio. The music apps that I use all the time are Pandora and Amazon music. I’m looking forward to trying Spotify for the Disney Christmas music I mentioned above. Pandora and Amazon I use at the gym all the time. I also listen to Pandora when I drive to see my daughter, which is 2 1/2 hours away and when I’m in the pool. I really don’t know why I have iHeartRadio on there since I’ve never looked at it once - I should just take it off. The only music service I pay for is SiriusXM.

Spotify also has Disney park audio loop playlists. Not sure how up-to-date those are, but it's worth a listen.

none.....I don't listen to music through my phone.
Same here. No need to. I have SiriusXM on my TV as part of my Dish Network programing. I have SiriusXM receivers in two of my three cars, and a SiriusXM portable boom box I have used in my classic car (didn't want to mess with the original factory audio system to keep the car original) or if I want to listen somewhere other than my car or house.
It IS irritating that SiriusXM keeps promoting "bonus channels" that are on the app only because all the channels I listen to are in the most basic service, and access to the app requires a higher level of service. That is NOT what my cell phone is for.

Apple Music - This is where I do the bulk of my listening. Ages ago, I loaded the songs on every single CD I own to iTunes so that I could have that music along with everything I've purchased through iTunes for my Apple music account. It is a ridiculous amount of music.

Amazon Music - I added it ages ago when one of Lady Gaga's albums was available for special purchase for only $0.99. I want to say this was back in 2011. So, I added it and have bought a few songs on there. What is also neat...if you ever bought any physical CDs through Amazon, that CD content should also be on your Amazon Music account.

Spotify - I embraced it after walking away from SiriusXM. While I could have negotiated my monthly costs, I found myself flipping stations a lot. I don't want to pay for something that I'm constantly flipping. Before my plan was canceled, I made the Ultimate Road Trip playlist on Spotify. It's got nearly 9 DAYS of music that I like. Spotify also has some decent playlists for specific artists, events, genres and holidays. My only beef is when we go out of signal. That does not happen with satellite like Sirius, but then I just default to Apple.

IHeartRadio - I barely use it, but it's nice when I miss some of our local stations during travel.

I use the music app on my iPhone to listen to playlists from my downloaded and ripped from CD’s music.

Can't remember the last time I switched channels on SiriusXM. My car is on Seventies on Seven, my wife's is on The Blend. Rented a pickup two months ago to move my daughter and I did not pay for SiriusXM for two days I had it. Boy, talk about spending a lot of time flipping stations. Actually, my daughter did, and was shocked that none of her favorite FM stations were still around.

The only music app on my phone that I know about and occasionally use is SiriusXM. I guess it’s part of the car subscription service.

There may be other apps pre-installed but I never used them.
