I have three pills that I take every morning. I recently got a pill holder because if I see the pills at my spot at the table I remember to take them, but if they're in the cupboard, I won't remember. The pill holder is less intrusive than having all the bottles sitting out. My 23 year old thinks it's hilarious. "You can't deny it anymore, mom! You're OLD!"
Tell the 23 year old "If you're lucky, one day you will be too!"

I voted 7 days and other, because I use a 7 day pill holder, but it's for my dog. He has epilepsy and takes pills 4 times a day. This is how we make sure he has had all his doses.

I checked off β€œOther”. This is what I use on a daily basis. It holds all of my prescription meds plus over the counter and supplements, all in one place.
I have each section separated by morning or evening, bedtime, etc.

I love it. It’s so easy to grab for travel.

I don't use one (no meds), but DH does. It's a 7-day with separate morning/night compartments. Sunday morning before breakfast is his weekly time to restock it.

I use one for am and one for pm plus my vitamin gummy’s in the container they came in and my shots. For travel I use a Vera Bradley pill case and I got a second one for jewelry. It’s great for earrings!
If you’re happy and you know it, shake your meds!

Mine is 2 rows of 7 days. My husband fills it each week for me. I take whatever he puts out (I take a lot of pills, both prescription and different vitamins. I always say he could kill me off if he wanted to since I just take what he puts out.

I have one, but I haven't used it yet. My insurance company just sent me one as their quarterly 'gift' It's a nice looking, double-sided day/night one, for a week. Bit large and clunky, though. I might take it on a trip.

I keep half my pills in the kitchen, next to the edge of the counter. I marked that with the days of the week, and slide a marker to the proper day after I take the morning ones straight from the bottles. That was 8, but I got a change last Dr visit, so I'm down to 7.
Night pills are in a little basket in the bathroom, that's 4 more.

I have a 7 day one that has AM/PM. I only take pills once a day so technically it could be for 14 days.

I use one 7-day holder that has morning and evening slots, like this:
View attachment 800999 (The individual days can pop out of the white tray if you want.) - I think I got it as CVS.

I only use it for vitamins and an allergy pill right now, but I like to be able to see whether I've taken them.
I have this one. I use the other side if I travel especially if it's more than 7 days.

I use it for vitamins. I use a 7-day as its the only was I can recall if I took them that day - life is a blur when you are up at 4AM every day. I also set a daily reminder on my phone. Between the two a rarely miss a day, but still not 100%.

I avoid RX drugs for the most part, seems like they try to get you on one that has side affects that you need another pill for and so on and so on. I've had several bad experiences with family members so I am far more cautious when it comes to RXs.

One example, they put you on a thyroid drug that has a side affect of bone loss.
They don't mention that and they don't bother to test for that until you are in your mid 60s.
You request it anyway and they do it and find out - oh yeah bone loss - osteoporosis - and you need to take this to stop it. That drug makes you feel unwell and has its own list side affects. Rinse. Repeat.
And back to the original thyroid drug, they forget to mention the limited improvement it may actually offer.

I use one like in Slo's picture. A weekly one. I have a travel box that folds open and has like 12 small compartments with labels that I can throw in my purse when we travel. I keep basic meds plus my prescriptions in there. The husband has that too and brings on travel. His has 4 of the compartments with Ibuprofen because he takes it every morning.

Two weekly holders. One is pretty and given to Mommy to store her meds in her purse. Turned out it was too small at one point in her life. The other is a utilitarian plastic design and belonged to the man.

Oh joy, my inheritance they could have kept to themselves.

Although my "pills" consist of 1 baby aspirin and 4 supplements, in an effort to accelerate my move to full Old Man-ness I started using a pill holder last year.
