Manwich - sloppy Joe’s sauce in a can. Some people like it and others not so much. We had it for dinner the other day, which is what inspired this poll. Tell us today……

What is your opinion of Manwich?
If you make it, which one(s) do you make?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..I like it - it’s good for a quick meal. On days that we are in a hurry, I’d rather take the time to make this than get fast food. If I know ahead of time that we’ll be pressed for time, I’ll make it the night before so we just need to heat it up. In the time it takes me to make this, it’s probably less time than for me to drive to a fast food place, wait in line, wait for the food and to drive home. I used to buy the Original only, but now I buy the Bold only. One day I’ll try the others.

I’m not a fan of loose meat sandwiches but my family was so I often used this but I added to it - bit of vinegar and little more sugar kind of sauce it up a little I’ve made this from scratch and much prefer the can with added touch - I’ve only ever purchased original
I won hundred percent agree with you this is much quicker and easier than getting fast food and often times taste better!!

I was never a fan, but I’m married to a guy that loves the stuff. So, every now and then we have Sloppy Joe’s. I usually prepare myself some kind of alternative dish.

I'm not sure I've ever had Manwich, though I have eaten sloppy joes and liked them. Closest thing I've had in decades would be a burger with some chili on it.

I've never used Manwich but we do occasionally make our own sloppy joes. My recipe uses tomato paste and relish along with the ground beef.

I'd forgotten about Manwich -- quit buying it after our kids grew up. It's good and would be a great thing to keep on hand for feeding the grands. I make lunch for them a lot and am running out of ideas. Thanks for the reminder, @slo !

I think I've had it, but if I did, it was years ago. I think it was okay. Marie does make her own Sloppy Joe, excellent. Not too often though.

I tried it years ago, and thought it was just OK. I do not buy it any more. I THINK it had too much green pepper taste for me.

I made it once in awhile back when the boys lived at home but they were never big fans of it. I liked it ok.

I'm not sure we ever used Manwich, we always used the seasoning packets for sloppy Joes.

nope, hated it. Never liked sloppy joes or Manwich or anything like that. Don't like that kind of sauce. Never had those at home. Also never ate chili growing up, my mom just never made it. Sometimes a can would be in the pantry, maybe my brother liked it, idk

Not a fan. We had sloppy joes as a kid but didn't use Manwich, it was tomato soup based with a bunch of added stuff. It was never something I was happy to see make the dinner table. 🫣

I do not make them as an adult.

Never had it. My wife makes great Sloppy Joes from scratch. When I make Sloppy Joes I just use BBQ sauce.

I make my own sauce from ketchup, bbq sauce and Worcestershire sauce. I don’t make sloppy Joe sandwiches. I prefer it over rice.

I used Manwich once but didn't like it. I make sloppy joes from scratch, and they are much better. :)

I have made sloppy joes at some point over the years but I don’t remember when the last time was. Very long ago. Homemade, using taco seasoning as a base and doctored with ketchup and whatever else seemed right. Always with shredded cheddar on top too. Everybody will eat them but nobody loves them.

It’s too saucy and sweet to me. I make my own Sloppy Joes with tomato paste, chili powder, and diced onions. My Sloppy sauce also works well as a topping for hot dogs.
