When listening to music from your phone - where does it come from?
(multiple choice)

For Me……The only time I listen to music from my phone is when I’m working out or floating in the pool.
When I’m at the gym or working out at home - Amazon Music or Music I bought or downloaded
When I’m in the pool - Pandora

I’m getting a little bored of the music I bought - it’s time to update my library. I’m going to the gym this morning, which Is why I’m thinking of this.

I need to update my Apple acct for last maybe 10 years ????? It’s such a hassle so I don’t bother listening to music on my phone
I have an IPOD and shocking it still works but rarely use it
If I want to listen to music at home I use my cable service
If I want to listen to music at work on computer I use Jango
Someday I’m going to load my gazillion cds into my Apple acct so I can listen to them in the car as I miss having a cd player in my car - the Disney channel on Sirius doesn’t play the CDs I have ! 🤣🤣 well upon occasion but not nearly enough - did get Soarin the other day ❤️❤️❤️

Edit - I’ve never purchased a song from Apple ever - I’m afraid once I start I’ll never stop - it will be like a gambler spending away the rent money so I just don’t ! I really enjoy all kinds of music so I just stay away

Being from the Hudson Valley I may be biased, but we have a great variety of quality radio stations that always have great music to listen to during the day. I think if you gave some of them a chance @slo, one may become a new favorite of yours.

Kids put Spotify on my phone so they could play with it in the car. I'm driving her on weekends back and forth to school.

It's not good to share as it's full of all her stuff. I downloaded some stuff but trying to sort through the app and find something to listen too is impossible in the car. So it's not very useful, I'm too busy driving to bother with it. You have to spend way more time than I want to invest creating playlists and such to be able to have music to listen too.

I work in a very loud industrial environment so after 28 years, I don't ever listen to music. I want quiet and don't want noise when I'm not at work any more. So I rarely listen to the radio in the car any more. My previous car in 6 years I think I only turned the radio on once, heard how horrible it was, and never listened to it.

If I don't have the app "offline" and playing from downloaded songs, she will see that and mess with me changing my music in the car after I dropped her off at school and change it to Taylor Swift. Ha ha, very funny after listening to TS for the last hour and a half driving up to drop her off, LOL.

99% of my music is ripped from my CD library and kept locally on my phone. I listen to them all the time. I don’t stream music. For me it’s pointless, I own everything I’d want to listen to and the couple of times I tried it was an exercise in frustration. The way streaming services work is not how I listen to music.

Other. I almost never listen to music - it just doesn’t appeal to me. On the rare occasion a specific song comes to mind and I want to hear it for some reason, I search it and play the YouTube version. I’ve got nothing saved on any of my devices and wouldn’t even think if subscribing to a service.

This is so true for me. I have an extensive CD library, and continue to add to it. I still have an optical drive in one of my laptops, so I can load the CD’s on my phone and tablet. My car is probably one of the last to have a CD player, so I rarely use the car radio. I don’t like the subscription business plan for anything.

The only time I listen to the local radio stations is during the holiday season.

I don’t regularly listen to music on my phone. In the house, I use our Amazon Alexa (or whatever it’s officially called 😀) and I listen to Sirius in my car. My husband and kids use their iPhones to listen to music often. The kids have Apple Music subscriptions and my husband has an Amazon music subscription.

I don't listen to music on my phone. If I'm outside walking, I have a good old fashioned IPOD mini that is about a hundred years old. If I am in the house, I listen to Sirius XM through the TV and in the car Sirius XM through the radio. If I'm not working out to a DVD in my workout room at home, I'm watching something on TV to take my mind off the workout.

I rarely listen to music, not even in my car. The only time I do is during the 2-3 months when the pool is open and I listen to 70’s classic rock on Pandora. I have a little Wi-Fi speaker which is nice.

I ❤️ listening to music. I listen to Spotify the most, my own library of songs I’ve purchased or downloaded, sometimes Amazon but even listening to playlists of my own they like to add in other songs they think I might like and I don’t like that. Also listen to Sirius XM. I’ll listen to music on a speaker through my phone, and we have two echo dots that I’ll listen through. One is in the family room and the other in the kitchen. Also listen to Sirius XM in the car. Even still listen to CD’s too in the house🙂

I listen to music via SiriusXM. It started when I discovered that I could listen to the music via my computer at work using my husband's SirusXM subscription. I would listen to the music the entire workday. Once I retired, I started to listen using my iPhone. :)

I seldom listen to music, but usually Sirius XM when I do. I mostly listen to talk radio and various blog posts.
