What is your opinion of Pumpkin Pie?

For Me…..I like pumpkin pie and I do like a lot of Cool Whip on my slice of pie. I like a lot of Cool Whip on everything - I love the stuff (don’t judge )

I really like pumpkin pie... just short of loving it. It would be #2 on my list... I always opt for pumpkin pie IF pecan pie is not a choice. If it is, I will always choose pecan

Hate is not a strong enough word I have nothing against the flavor of pumpkin I love the flavor of pumpkin I love pumpkin bread I love pumpkin bars but it’s the texture and a pumpkin pie a sweet potato pie a custard pie any of those kind of pies nope can’t do it so I hate pumpkin pie I will bake you one but I’m not gonna eat it
Now I can eat a chocolate pudding pie strange as it seems but it’s not like a custard I don’t like custard I don’t like flan anything of that type of texture I can’t eat it and it’s not a thing of mind over matter I’ve tried it over the years and still can’t even get a bite down my throat
So enjoy your pumpkin pie you can have my slice
I do enjoy Cool Whip or whip cream homemade or whip cream from a can but I can’t stand meringue and again I can make you a pie with it I just won’t be eating it
Which will be doing Wednesday at work as it is a friends birthday she wanted lemon meringue pie I’ll eat the pie but not the meringue

When we did a Buffet at work and sweet potato pie was served it was served with the pies just like any other pie and it was served cold just like pumpkin pie you could have it with whip cream or not I’m no expert on sweet potato pie I did try it it’s not for me but a lot of people specially in the south love sweet potato pie I thought it would taste more like sweet potatoes but again it’s a texture thing with me

I don't care for pumpkin pie BUT I'm all about the pumpkin roll, and I get one from the bakery every Thanksgiving.

We keep canned whip cream but for pumpkin pie I prefer cool whip. Out of can cream tends to melt a bit. Out of tub just sits there. I prefer to sit and enjoy the pie, not gobble it down before it turns into a puddle.

I love pumpkin pie. When we have it at home no whipped cream but if out and offered depending on the mood might put it on.

I like it, but it's definitely not my favorite pie - too many other better pies out there. I've had some pumpkin pies with a kind of streusel topping, which was really good. I put a moderate amount of whipped cream on. I've never had the sweet potato pie, but I've done a butternut squash pie which was extremely similar to pumpkin pie in flavor and texture.

I don’t care for pumpkin pie. Much prefer pumpkin bread or cake. Like @WDWEPCOT, it’s about the texture. I make a delicious pumpkin bread with chocolate chips and walnuts. Love whipped cream, but it has to be real cream, not Cool Whip.

I love pumpkin pie with a layer of real whipped cream that is at least an inch thick covering the entire surface. My husband's family likes Cool Whip but not me.

I do like a slice or two of pumpkin pie this time of the year. It wouldn't be my first choice of pie, but I'm not turning it down either.

And I do like a pretty big dollop of Cool Whip as well (or whipped cream, if available - I'm not that picky when it comes to that).
