Today is one of those mornings that I could have hit the snooze button 10 times - I was sleeping pretty good. I do know some people that never hit the snooze button - they just get up. I can’t do that - I need to lay there and think about my morning and my day. Many times I think about what my poll will be as I’m laying there hitting the snooze button. So I’m curious….

Do you hit the snooze button your alarm clock?
If yes, how many times? (average)
(multiple choice)

*The alarm clock on your phone counts as an alarm clock.

For Me….On average I hit the snooze button 2 times. It goes off at 5:00am and I put my feet on the floor at 5:21am. My snooze button is 7 minutes. The only time I don’t do this is on the weekend day that I go to the gym - then I hit it once so it doesn’t wake up my DH. He sleeps like the dead, so it probably wouldn’t, but out of respect for him, I hit the snooze button once and then get up before it rings again.

I do wake up pretty happy, so this picture was perfect for me today ⬇️ - LOL!

You now know two people who never hit the snooze button
I’ve never understood how seven more minutes of sleep is going to make anything different if you want more sleep then set your alarm for that time and then get up
I find those snooze buttons so annoying when it’s time to get up it’s time to get up but that’s just my opinion YMMV

I never hit the snooze button. When I do, I find myself laying there in bed awake, waiting for the snooze alarm to go off.

When I worked I was always a two hitter....it was just part of my morning routine. :)

Depends on if I am going into the office. If I am, my husband gets me up around 330 and then I set my alarm for 4 and if I fall back asleep, cool. If I don't, then I turn it off. So, that is kind of my "snooze". If I am NOT going into the office, he wakes me at 5 when he is leaving and I set my alarm for multiple times between 530 and 630 and depending on how I am feeling, I will turn them off or just get up when it goes off.

I have insomnia and a weird work schedule, so my sleep suffers and what I do varies day to day on how the night went. Fell asleep around 1130 last night. Today, got up at 327 after husband got out of the shower, set my alarm for 4 and crashed hard those 30 minutes. Got up, showered, made lunches, got ready, made coffee, fed cats, out the door at 5. Feel like I slept for days. Tonight - probably won't sleep at all.

I am complicated.

I hit the snooze about once a year. I also only use an alarm clock about 20 days a year. For my day to day, I don't use an alarm clock. I wake up between 5:30 and 6:30 every morning and once I'm awake can't get back to sleep. My wife sets an alarm and snoozes at least twice every day, sometimes more.

No snooze here for me. Body clock gets me up typically between 5 and 6. If I have to be somewhere before 9, I set my phone alarm for 6, but am almost always awake before 6. When I wake up, I'm up. Marie on the other hand, always uses snooze.

No snooze button for me. I do however set my clock radio (yes I’m old) 10 minutes fast so when it goes off I know I have 10 minutes to stretch and get my head going.

I set two alarms. First at 8:15 and one at 9. First one goes off and then I usually am up by 8:45 on my own.

I just wake up between 5:30 - 6:30. We don't HAVE to get up at a certain time. There are a few times I have slept until 7:30 and I feel like the morning is almost over by the time I make and eat breakfast. My problem is sometimes I wake up about 2 ish and then I think, and think and think. Once my brain sets in gear, it's hard to shut down. I have headband headphones and I listen to a book I have already read. It engages my brain without putting it in overdrive.

The only time we set an alarm is if we have to get somewhere like early hospital or airport. Then I use my phone.

I usually set two alarms and hit snooze once on the first alarm. It’s rarely a falling back asleep things and more about relaxing a little before getting out of bed. The snooze and secondary alarms are more like safety nets in case it’s one of those rare occasions where I do fall back to sleep.

I used to do three five minute snoozes, but then I got my dogs. One of them thinks the alarm music means cuddle time.

Seeing the early times people get up makes me more thankful that I have been almost exclusive work from home for the past 8 or so years.

I have a less than one minute commute from bed to work and use it to my sleeping advantage.

One downside of working at home is that there isn't much motivation to get moving until my first call in the morning.
