I'm retired now, so no alarm to get up in the morning. But, when I was working, yes I used an alarm clock and would usually hit the snooze button once before getting up.
I never hit the snooze button.
I’m usually awake before my alarm goes off.
Even on the weekends, we’re up early.
We also use alarms for travel, airport…..
When I had a nightstand clock/radio I’d often hit the snooze once or twice.
Now i use my phone alarm and put it on the dresser so that I HAVE to get out of bed to shut it off or hit snooze. I rarely bother trying to sleep 9 more minutes.
Rarely! maybe once a month, if that, , if I've had a really rough night, I'll hit snooze, once. DH gets up earlier than I do, and he hits his about 4 or 5 times......drives me bananas
Now, I do more often just reset the alarm about 20-30 mins in the future....so, not snooze, but similar
I was not an alarm clock user, so of course also didn’t use a snooze button. But I did know someone who kept their clock set 30 minutes ahead. When I pointed out the clock was wrong, they replied that this allowed them to hit the snooze button twice and still be ten minutes early!
I haven’t used an alarm clock on a regular basis in many years -the rare times being if I had an important early meeting or an early flight to catch. Other than that, if I sleep later than usual I figure I needed the extra rest and go on with my day.
Never used the snooze button, didn't see the point of it. I set the alarm clock for the time I have to get up in order to leave home at a certain time for work. An extra couple of minutes isn't going to make any difference and you are just as likely to oversleep and be late for work if you turn the alarm off by mistake instead of hitting the snooze button.
Self-employed, so no alarm clock. I'm not a morning person at all, so I also don't book early flights or anything. I would FAR rather take the redeye the night before than try to drag myself to the airport at some ungodly stupid hour.
