I *love* caramel apple, but my teeth don't-at least not the teeth I had to pay for. I usually just get a caramel apple flavored lollipop instead now.

I love caramel apples....used to buy them at Costco....so many good toppings.
But my teeth do not like them. Last time I ate one the caramel pulled a crown out....so dentist said no more

Yeah, no more caramel apples for me also. But I really like them.

Carmel apples always seemed like an awful thing to do to an apple. I had a few as a kid and just was not impressed.

Not a fan. The apples always seemed too mushy after being dipped in the hot caramel and the hardened caramel always felt like it was going to pull all my fillings out of my teeth when I bit into one.

I LOVE caramel apples. Unfortunately due to Oral Allergy Syndrome which makes me allergic to most RAW fruits, (yet I can have cooked fruits & nuts,) I can't eat them anymore on a stick. Only if they've been cut up, baked and the caramel drizzled on top.

Always look yummy, but too hard to eat. I can’t remember the last time I had a whole one, 20 years maybe. Cut up might work, but with my 9 crowns, I usually avoid caramel.

I was always a fan, and would select one with peanuts if an option. I rarely ever had them though. A place not too far away used to make them up fresh in the fall and they were good. Not sure how easy it was to clean that giant cauldron of caramel though!

Some of the prepackaged ones are not so good. And they can be easier to eat on a plate cut up with a knife.

I have to take the day off tomorrow - I’m going to be out of town. My DD21 is having shoulder surgery, so if you all could send her a little pixie dust her way for a successful surgery and quick recovery i’d really appreciate it. I’ll still be around, I just may not have time to do a poll. Now, onto the poll…..

For Me……I really like caramel apples, but I have to eat them in moderation due to my UC. At one time I liked peanuts, but my UC doesn’t allow that anymore. So I enjoy them plain, with certain candies and crushed Oreos. Now I want a caramel apple - LOL!

Slo, how did the surgery go?

It went smooth. She’s home now and resting. She’ll be in an immobilizer for 6 weeks. The shoulder was worse than originally thought, so it’s good she decided to have the surgery.

My mom used to make them and I ate them often in my younger days. I haven't had one for several years though.

Both of us really enjoy Carmel apples. We like nuts only on then, but if there are ones with chocolate candies as well, we take them.
