White chocolate is a misnomer. If we have any bags of mixed chocolate treats that include white ”chocolate, it sons becomes a bag of white chocolate treats. Until it gets thrown out.

I don't think I've had one before, but I doubt I would pass one up. I don't have any issues with white chocolate - heck, most sweets are fine with me. :p

I don't think I've had one. However, I don't think it's really "white chocolate" per se as it doesn't contain cocoa butter. It uses some combination of tropical and nontropical oils.

I've seen and tried others. I think they had some strawberry one. Bought a bag of their raspberry creme one a couple of years ago. And then the mint-flavored Duo. And yeah all of those use some blend of oils and not real cocoa butter.

Then there's Japanese KitKat. They go crazy. But I will never willingly try durian. Maybe if I'm offered a lot of money to do so.

U.S. Kit Kat’s are different from Canada’s can’t eat yours. That being said I don’t like white chocolate either.

Our Swiss Chalet gives out Lindor chocolate with there festive meals and one out of 5 is white. We have a bowl sitting here with just white ones....lol
:scratchin Tell me more - I had no idea. I'm not a chocolate lover and don't eat chocolate bars very often. I'm 100% sure I've never eaten an American one. Given that ours are 3 layers of crispy wafer with hazelnut cream in between and dipped in milk chocolate, what are theirs like? Oh and yeah, same where with the Lindt balls.

Well, there's no hazelnut. It's just chocolate and the wafers.

I said I don’t like them even though I’ve never had one. I don’t like white chocolate. I like milk chocolate Kit Kat’s though.

Never had one, but don’t care for white chocolate. Too sweet for my taste. I love milk chocolate and some dark as well. Regular Kit Kats are okay, though not my favorite.

Meh, just okay. I like white chocolate but I usually only eat it around Easter when I buy at least one white chocolate bunny. Don't care for Lindt's white chocolate, though- to me it tastes like straight butter. Milk chocolate Kit-Kats are okay too, not a candy bar I ever crave. When I eat chocolate I like Cadbury's. I also like orange flavored chocolate from Terry's.

I don't like white "chocolate" but DH and DS do (and they love the orange ones too). When we get a mixed bag, everyone is happy. - DS likes the white best, DH's favorites are the regular, and I love the dark ones!

I don't care for white chocolate; tastes like a mixture of Crisco and sugar.

Depends on what it's made out of. I loved older Nestle Alpine White. Back then it couldn't be called "white chocolate" in the United States due to labeling regulations, but it was real white chocolate made with cocoa butter. I've had really nice truffles made with Belgian chocolate and white chocolate.

These days what passes for "white chocolate" is often just a blend of palm oil and shea oil. That is like eating shortening. But real cocoa butter is very different than palm oil.

Like someone here said they are very waxy the middle is the same it’s the outside. It is like chocolate made with no cocoa butter but just flavoured chocolate.

I always read labels when I buy chocolate especially Easter bunnies that cocoa butter is listed.

Just like I prefer our Smarties over m&m’s .
