Holy Moly…..there’s so many different Ranch flavors at the grocery store - definitely something for everyone. Some like original Ranch and others like the fun flavors. So I’m curious what type of Ranch person you are. Tell us…..

For Me……I haven’t bought many Ranch flavors. My family loves original Ranch, and uses that a lot. I’ve also bought my DH the Spicy Ranch and he enjoys that.

I’ve been getting the buttermilk in the original but I think I’m gonna try the avocado
Like putting it on lots of things from pasta to potatoes been in occasional salad
It’s always great to dip veggie in

I don’t see very many Ranch choices in Canadian grocery stores.
We bought a Greek Tzatziki Ranch once, but didn’t enjoy it.
I guess, we’ll just stick with the original.

I am not a fan of ranch dressing, but 3 of the 5 of us will use it on almost anything. We buy regular/original, and they like store brand as much as anything else. Resident 8 year old is also fond of Russian/Thousand Island, which he refers to as "pink sauce!"

Had no idea there was so many. We just still to regular. We hardly use it, most grandkids use it with salad or pizza. We already throw away old half used bottles. Not going to throw away twice as many bottles in different flavor ranch.

I really just do regular or buttermilk, though I don't know if I've even had most flavors. I rarely actaully buy ranch, most places will just have regualr.

Same. It’s funny, I never had ranch dressing growing up; we weren’t big salad eaters in my family, and so I never buy it as an adult. Our standards are Italian, Thousand Island, and blue cheese.

In the grocery business it's all about controlling visible shelf space. Look at the Crest toothpaste section next store visit.

When we use ranch, we use Kraft Classic, which is similar to Hidden Valley Original.

I only eat homemade dressing, usually a lemon garlic vinaigrette. I have ranch dressing in the fridge because my kids learned to like it elsewhere. I will eat bottled blue cheese with wings.

I like almost all ranch but usually buy regular or buttermilk. I haven’t tried all of the listed varieties but think I would like any of them.

When I moved to the south, I learned that southerners put ranch on EVERYTHING! I've had several work friends share stories of being mocked when they travel because of it. Now, I'd argue that some of this was their own doing...travel and eat like the locals eat. For example, a work friend was in NYC and asked for ranch for her pizza. Normal here...crime against pizza there. In another example, someone ordered wings around Buffalo, NY and was shamed for insisting on a side of ranch for their wings vs. bleu/blue cheese.

I like all kinds of ranch, but I'm picky. There are a number of restaurant chains that have phenomenal ranch dressing, but I have yet to find a bottled ranch that I like. What's funny...the dried packets of ranch to make your own taste really good. Even the store brand! So, I'm guessing it's all the preservatives involved in bottling that changes the flavor too much for me. We do make our own from time to time. I made a buttermilk ranch several months ago, DH has figured out the secret behind Chuy's creamy jalapeno ranch dip for chips, and I've also made a sour cream ranch. DD15 has done some things with bacon in her ranch experiments, and DD17 makes a phenomenal avocado ranch that she puts over chilled shrimp.
