Definitely get yourself a bunny, or better yet, let your DH know how much this means to you and have him put together a little basket for you.

Seasons of life change and our hearts often register it as a loss of the parts we loved. Perfectly normal. But also a chance to shift your focus onto other things and recognize the new potential. I sure know what it’s like to pour out lament on “if only things would go back to normal, then I’ll be happy again.” Alas, the hands of time just never seem to turn in that direction.
Maybe fancy Easter brunch will become your new favourite thing! Maybe there’s people you know that would love to be invited to your home to celebrate with a feast. Maybe there’s a kid or two in your circle who doesn’t have much and would be thrilled to receive a little basket of goodies. Maybe the day becomes a special time for just you and your DH to share and focus on really ministering to and blessing each other in the heartache of this transition.
Whatever you end up doing, I know Resurrection morning will bring you a renewed sense of new life and hope for the good future that’s before you, even as the former things must pass away. Grace and peace.
