All of the Cadbury eggs are my favorites. After that, I love jelly beans. I will not be eating any of that this year. I began a weight loss journey back in November that started by restricting or limiting certain foods from my diet. Being around the candy at Christmas proved to me that I can't handle holiday candy in moderation, so it's better just not invite any temptation. Jelly beans are less dangerous for my control issues than chocolate but the coating on jelly beans upsets my stomach, especially Jelly Belly brand. So, it's just not worth it. I've made tremendous progress over these 5.5 months and I don't want the Easter Bunny to sabotage any of it.

We are strictly chocolate and peanut butter fans. I bought a lot less this year since we're all trying to eat healthier and limit sugar consumption. I will have a reese's egg or two and I also bought Robin's Eggs (DH's favorite) and some caramel cadbury eggs.

Haven't bought anything yet. Now that the kids are grown up we just buy a few things and put them out on the counter for everyone to much on. Husband going grocery shopping later today and will pick up a few things.

It's not Easter without chocolate eggs from a local company. There's only 1 store left so just made the trip yesterday after work across town. I usually get the french mint or swiss in dark chocolate in the crate eggs. With one large peanut butter crunch for my mother. Grew up with these so it's a must.

I'm sure there will be other candy from the store as well that mother will buy - chocolate bunny, cadbury mini, jellybeans and peeps are likely.

NEO Ohio - it's Olympia candies in Strongsville. BA Sweetie's just combined with them so they might have some too.

Olympia and BA Sweetie's merged? I hadn't heard that. Interesting. :)

YES!! To having Easter candy. One of my husband’s clients sent him a HUGE See’s Candy delivery as a thank you. All of it was Easter. 🐣 Sooo…I’ve indulged a bit. Then gave out several of the boxes and bunnies to neighbors and friends.

Haven't bought a thing, didn't dye any eggs. DH is on a 3 week dive trip half way around the world so it's just me.

I haven't had any Easter candy this year. I try to keep my candy consumption minimal. Sadly, there is so much tempting stuff out there :rotfl2:

Will you or have you enjoyed any Easter candy this year?
Not yet, but I usually wait for the after Easter sales. I like various types of candies. My all time favorite - Brach's Easter Hunt Eggs. But they're difficult to find.

Olympia was going bankrupt and near closing. BA Sweetie's offered to help to save them. It was maybe 2 years ago roughly. This was the first year, I think, that BA Sweetie's had some of the eggs at their store. The news mentioned this week. Olympia has expanded their nostalgic candy section with it the last 2 years. More so this year it seemed. Not all the flavor eggs in both milk & dark. This year just seemed less and the chocolate bunnies, etc weren't as many either.
