I rarely drink coffee. I only like it with a lot of cream and sugar (or chocolate milk), so it's probably for the best that I don't drink it daily.

I drink tea daily, usually at least 3 cups.

It depends on the day. Today, it's 3 big Keurig cups in a very large mug. Yesterday, it was 2, because that's what fit in the mug. Some days, there are only 1 cup mugs in the cabinet.

This weekend, DH and I are leaving the kids behind and going to Philadelphia for the day. We'll have Starbucks or Dunkin on the way there and we'll stop for an espresso, etc., while we're about in the city.

On average, how much coffee do you drink a day?

For Me……2 1/2 cups - I measured it last night when I thought about doing this topic today.
I only drink hot coffee and I only drink it in the morning.

Thinking that the cup's size might be considered with different methods. My French Press cups are 4oz/cup so 5 cups per press and I'm finishing my 2nd press of the day now = 40oz. My MOCHA POT, NESPRESSO, DRIP, POUR OVER are all different sizes and darkness. Even with my KAZAAR NESPRESSO at 120mg caffeine/shot = 1.35256oz. I typically stretch to a LUNGO >>>(* Kazaar is an exception as it is very high in Robusta and contains 120 mg of caffeine. The Espresso range (40ml) varies from 50 to 70 mg caffeine per cup. The Lungo coffees (110 ml) range except Envivo around 80 mg caffeine per cup. The decaffeinated coffees contain 2-4mg caffeine per cup *) and it does not react. When out and ordering an Espresso I will always have a double or triple and when CRUISING it's always a double 3 to 5 times/day plus a Double Espresso before appetizer arrives then an American Black with dinner/or not but always one after.

Didn't start drinking coffee until January 2015 as a 64.5yo GEEZER on a DREAM Concierge Cruise at which time I tried a Double Espresso in the Concierge Lounge for the FIRST TIME and got hooked. It's been all down hill since then. :teeth:

I Hand Grind my beans (medium to dark roast) except for Nespresso, unless I do a reusable pod with the hand ground beans.

p.s. -- started on the coffee at 1AM today before heading out on a 22.22 mile bicycle ride. Will be heading out shortly on my *Grocery Grabber Bike* for about another 10 miles of biking to complete today's *Grocery Run (ride)*

1 cup every morning, half & half w/ sugar on rare occasions I'll hit a starbucks for a hot mocha while out & about- but that's probably only 1X per month.

1 or 2 cups of decaf in the morning, and a cup of regular around lunchtime.

I don’t drink coffee. Can’t stand the taste. DH will occasionally have a cup when we’re out, but never drinks it at home. We keep a coffee maker in the house for guests.

I said 2-3, but it varies. Typically I have 1-2 in the morning before I leave the house. If I am working I usually have another cup after I get there, occasionally I’ll have 2. Sometimes I’ll have another cup late afternoon/early evening if I feel like I need something to either tide me over hunger wise until dinner or a boost to keep me awake for the rest of the things I need to do before bed. I always drink it hot with milk/cream, no sugar.

Lots and lots - regular black and almost always home brewed. Three cups in the morning before I leave; I carry a two cup flask to work and there’s a fresh pot waiting for me when I get home (4 or 5 cups over the course of the evening). Caffeine doesn’t make me jittery or keep me awake but alas, I am totally hooked. Not being able to access a steady stream causes an epic headache that nothing but caffeine will fix. I’m not a pop drinker at all but I carry two cans of “emergency” Coke with me when I’m travelling - just to keep the edge off. :o

1 cup a day in the morning. I find that I get a stomachache when I drink more than 1. I drink tea or water the rest of the day.

Two big mugs in the morning for me. I think it's about 5 cups. DH and I split a 12 cup pot each day; he drinks a bit more than I do and he can drink it all day. I only consume caffeine in the morning.

 Why do you need an upstairs Kerurig? Can’t you just ring for Jeeves to fetch it from the butler’s pantry? ;)
Jeeves can’t climb stairs any longer.

Next you’ll be asking me why i need an upstairs refrigerator.

I want my first cup of coffee while lounging around before getting a shower and dressed. There’s a small k-cup brewer (shocker!!! It’s Walmart brand) on my bathroom counter. I need a refrigerator for creamer so there is a small dorm cube sized one on an old end table in my closet. It also has some yogurt, cut fruit, soft drinks, etc.

Some time back I mentioned the upstairs fridge (DH has one too in his upstairs office) and you said I was like some of your clients who desire such amenities.

I start my morning with two Nespresso capsules brewed into a mug, so I consider that two cups. I then have a mug or two at the office, either from a K-Cup or one of my office mates down the hall who brews some really fine blends in a drip maker.
