For some reason my last laundry load batch always ends up staying in the dryer until I start a new load of laundry.

I would probably do this if I'm being honest, but there are five of us here including a toddler who goes through clothes like a Kardashian. Somebody is always doing a load of laundry. If I left clothes in the dryer, Lord knows where they'd end up...not neatly folded and placed on my bed, that's for sure.

Oftentimes I dry it of a night and get it out the next morning.
I could never leave the dryer going overnight or when I leave the house. To afraid of a dryer fire even though I keep the vents in and out clean.

It depends on my motivation level and the time available. Sometimes I do it all in one day, others it will sit in the laundry room, clean and in a basket, for a WHILE. Only rule is that baskets holding dirty laundry stay in the bedroom, baskets with clothes in them in the laundry room are CLEAN clothes. Otherwise I'd end up washing the same things over and over and over...

Only me so I voted "All of the above." The washer/dryer is in the bathroom and I don't have nice clothes. Just jeans/shorts and t-shirts so I end up living out of the dryer most of the time. After all, it's right there when I need to get dressed coming out of the shower.

I don't sort anything, all goes in 1 load (towels separate because I can go a month without needing to wash that.) So aside from tossing in towels now and then, I do laundry once a week and a lot of the time I have a few things to pull out and fold to toss the new load in.

Pretty much the washer and dryer run several times a week.

I have alot of clothing that does not go in the dryer, I have a closet shelving over my washer and dryer and so out of the washer, straighten out, and reshape they get hung up, and some lay flat on top of the dryer... I like my towels extra dry, living in Florida this is a must if not really really dry that will start to stink, due to the humidity...

I fold downstairs, I love having a big farm table as I make trips up and down the stairs, I take a pile with me, and put away as I go...

Next day I check to see what is dry and take them up stairs... they are already on hangers so just colorize and hang...

We shoot for same day but sometimes it's 1-2 days later. 🙈

NO shooting in this house. I let the machine wash, I hang to dry then with a quick dryer spin to fluff, sort - fold and put away.

After hand washing dishes I let air-dry then put away.

I try to wash, dry, and fold same day. Actually putting the clothes away can take much longer.

I take it out of the dryer just before it finishes and fold things then. That's actually my favorite part of doing laundry. I love the warm feeling of the clothes. It also help avoid wrinkles if you don't just let the clothes sit (in the dryer or basket) until you wear them.

I voted same day. Laundry folding is not a job I dislike. In comparison to other household chores, it's probably a favorite. I love having my laundry room near my kitchen and family room and think that's what makes it easy. I toss the clean laundry on the breakfast bar and fold it while watching tv. If my laundry were in a basement or an upstairs, I'd probably put it off. Having it front and center means it's dealt with immediately and never piles up. Because it's front and center, if someone else is in the room too they usually jump up and fold with me. Because it's front and center, people don't "forget" to take their laundry to their rooms when it's folded.

well....I sleep outside.....the bed is up against a wall and is highly decorated with SW textiles...so when we play cards at night, the bed looks like part of the outdoor decor. pillows, covers, sheets, comforter...all SW designed.

Same day only because we have a large laundry room and have hanging racks, cubbies and a rolling cart where the socks and underwear go.Don't "put" the laundry away, which is a Godsend.Miserable chore.
