For Me…..I love them! ❤
I hate it when my neck is cold.
I don’t wear them everyday this time of year, but I do wear them a lot

I wear turtle ponchos occasionally, but rarely a true turtleneck. I get too hot in school and tend to wear layers— long sleeve shirt, sweater, scarf sometimes. The poncho has become my signature winter layer- it’s versatile and not too hot.

I wear them fairly often in the winter, usually layered under a sweater or fleece. I have a few traditional turtlenecks which fit well and are comfortable, however, I find many of them to be too tight and bulky. So I generally prefer mock turtlenecks.

Like others I wore them in my 20’s but haven’t since .

Don’t think I would like it on my neck now , don’t even like wearing necklaces . Plus I get to hot now wear t shirts in the winter with hoodies so I can take the layer off.

I used to love them !! Two neck surgeries later I have nerve pain and now can’t stand anything touching that area - which includes part of my back so my daily clothing is slightly annoying to me
But before that I loved them - and cowl neck shirts too !! I used to own several I liked them as a kid too

I love them, but not the type of turtlenecks from the past which were really tight and uncomfortable. All the ones I buy now seem comfy.

I hate turtlenecks and have hated them as long as I can remember. I always felt like someone was trying to strangle me. (I don't like things touching my throat.) I don't think I've worn one since I was old enough to choose my own clothes! ^^ But I didn't realize they've changed.

Most have a much more looser, stretchier neck. I think the exception to that is some old-style ones I recently bought from Land's End.

It's -20 plus windchill here in Ottawa, Canada, the only weather that makes turtlenecks appropriate! (Especially if you have yard duty)
