I've never heard of them, but I love peppermint patties and Junior Mints, so I'd probably love them.

I heard that a lot of people in Chicagoland aren't thrilled that Macy's took over Marshall Fields. About five years ago I was there and noticed Macy's at least kept a smallish MF sign on the side of the building. I bought a small box of the mints. Delicious.

If Macy's discontinued Frango Mints I'm sure there would have been a revolt.

Yes. It wasn't a happy time. It's nice to see it every Christmas memorialized in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The sign is a little metal sign on the outside of the building -- it might be on each corner.

Never heard of this but I'll have a go!:)

Sounds like something I would like, however I have never heard of them. But we have See's Candies here, the best IMHO.

Never had the mint meltaways, but I have had Fannie May candy before. That brand is ok.

YES! My favorite too! I love See's Candies. Easy to get when I lived in AZ.

Our major mall in Cincy (it is actually still popular and 6 new stores are coming in 🤯) used to have a seasonal kiosk for See's but it went away about 5 years ago. Last year, I had it shipped to my home. I remember they had some sort of sale that made it worth the price to ship.

Fannie Mae is better than See's. But now I am far from both and can't order when it is hot here, so that is almost never.

Never had them. There was a Fannie Mae in Newark and I preferred a chocolate covered toffee that they don’t seem to sell any more. Have not seen a Fannie Mae store in years, I just looked on line.
