I’ve been having this topic on my mind a lot lately, since we haven’t been on a Disney Cruise since 2007. My DD21 and I enjoy watching some of our favorite YouTubers on their Disney Cruises and the main thing holding us back from going on another cruise is the cost - they are very pricey. My DH enjoyed the Disney Cruise we went on, but he’s not interested on going on many more because they have no casino - he’s not a big gambler, but he does enjoy casinos on other cruise lines. The one ship he would like to go on is The Treasure - he really wants to see The Haunted Mansion bar, which does look super cool. So let’s talk about Disney Cruises. So set sail with your answer today…….

Have you been on a Disney Cruise?
If yes……which ship(s) have you sailed on?
(Multiple Choice)

For Me……We sailed The Magic in 2007 and loved it. My DD21 will be my Disney Cruise sailing partner for future cruises. As I mentioned above, my DH would like to go on The Treasure, so he’ll join us on that ship one day. My DD and I would like to eventually go on all the ships and we’ll do that by ourselves. I have no idea when this endeavor will happen, since she’s starting grad school in August and will be going to school year round for the next 3 years. Until then….we’ll continue to have fun watching YouTube videos together about the cruises.

Yes and I love them !😍
Wonder
Magic
Dream
Fantasy
I’ve done Alaska transatlantic Norway countless Bahama and Caribbean cruises and an DVC Member cruise ❤️ and I’m currently sitting on a placeholder looking for another one!! I really want to get on the Treasure because I want to see the haunted mansion bar and the ship of course!! I need to get on the Wish as I haven’t made it on that one yet so far the Dream is my favorite ship and I’ve been on that one the most
SLO - I will cruise with you !!!

Never been on a Disney cruise-too expensive. My sister and I are planning a cruise for 2026 instead of our usual Sisters Trip to WDW-also too expensive now. Cruises leave out of the port of Philadelphia for Bermuda which I wouldn't mind, but my sister would really like to leave out of New York.

DW and I have cruised DCL and other cruise lines as a SOLO couple to having Family along. We've enjoyed our Disney cruises staying in an Ocean View cabin on Wonder to the 1BR Concierge on Dream but sadly we no longer cruise DCL due to prohibitive pricing.

We just did an Easter Sunday 4 night on our Cruise Line of Choice (has a Casino and the most Relaxing Private Island) and for fun I did a price comparison to DCL WISH that sailed a day later.

DCL WISH inside CABIN was around $3,800 for 2.

Our Cruise Line's Verandah Cabin at a level above DCL's WISH Concierge was at $3,400. for 2. If we wanted to sail WISH in Concierge, it was about $6,000 more.

I said yes, because it qualifies. My husband and I went on a "Disney" cruise in December 1990 when it was still Premier Cruise Lines. No characters, but we spent 4 days on the cruise and 3 days in Disney.

Yes....most recently Treasure in March.
It is expensive, so not as often as we do other cruise lines.
We've been on Magic, Fantasy, Dream and Treasure.
We tend not to do the 3-5 day cruises.
7 and over.

We did the Big Red Boat, an early Disney cruise in the 1990's. It was nothing like the Disney cruises of today. They retired the Big Red boats soon after we took the cruise. It offered three cruise days, park hoppers and three nights at a resort. We stayed at the Beach Club. The cruise package was a great price and it hooked us on the Beach Club, where were have stayed the most of any resort.

No. We are long-time cruisers and started when our DS was little; it was really the perfect form of family vacation for us. We looked at DCL many times; the prices have always been prohibitive. Just not enough value-add to make it worth it. Now that we only cruise as an adult couple, we’d never consider it.

Did a Disney cruise to nowhere from NYC almost 10 years ago as a tryo. I’m sure DGD enjoyed it but the adults felt it was not our style.

No Disney Cruises, no. However my parents used to live on the island where the original Castaway Cay was to be...does that count?!?!
At this point in life I don't think a large cruise ship is for us, so no plans on the horizon.

DH and I took a Disney Magic cruise back in 2001 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and we were hooked on cruising. We have cruised since then with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Disney. We love cruising, just wish we could do it more often.
