I always travel with a small baggie of hotel shampoos in case where I am staying has WALL shampoo.

If there is WALL shampoo then no I do not use it and actually will cover it with plastic bag so DS doesn't try to use it.

If there are small bottles then yes I do use the hotel shampoo.

I picked other because I always come prepared with my own but may use what the hotel provides if it's the larger wall mounted bottles and it seems to work for me. I mean, why use mine if I'm paying for the hotel and what they have is decent? I only wash my hair 1-2x per week because anything more destroys it. Honestly, shampoo isn't a big deal but even with my age related thinning hair I still have A LOT of hair. It's also naturally curly and runs on the dry side. So, it's vital that I have a ton of conditioner handy when I do wash.

I use the hotel conditioner (I don't use shampoo -- curly girl method).

However, I do think twice before using the refillable ones--I had a coworker who said she'd seen some kind of show where someone filled them with Nair. Doesn't stop me, but makes me think. :scared::scared1:

I never use the hotel provided products. My hair is thin, old, breaks easily, and is naturally curly. I bring my own shampoo and conditioner, in small bottles so they clear security at the airport. I also really hate the scent of the products at Disney, so I bring my own mini-bar-soap and skin creams.

I never bring it and always use what htey have. I do particularly love Disney's Sea Marine products.

I usually use what the hotel provides but I bring my own shampoo + conditioner to Disney resorts whenever I can. The Disney products suck IMO and make my hair super dry.

I’ve always brought my own but I am contemplating using the hotels on my Las Vegas trip in a few weeks to save space. My only concern is that I am scent sensitive.

These days with most places having them right there on the wall makes me use them more.
For Disney I'm on board with the shampoo and body wash but I bring my own conditioner because theirs makes my hair tangle and doesn't leave it silky.
The nice thing is that if I happen to be doing carry on only that's a couple less liquids to pack.

Nope never use it. I only wash my hair with baby shampoo so I bring my own.

I’ve a pretty good idea of what kind of shampoo and conditioner a hotel will provide by checking out their overall services. Thus, if I’m staying at say, a Holiday Inn, I’m packing my own and taking a hair dryer too.

Loveeeee the smell and feel of Disney’s hair products and as a sidebar am sad they seem to be discontinuing the foot rub.

I also said other because I bring my own toiletries but sometimes will use what the hotel provides.

I use what ever is handy. Scents usually don't sway me much. At home I don't get freaked out if my brand of soap/deodorant/ bodywash is out of whatever scent I had last. As long as I get that brand (usually cheap stuff).

But about 6-10 years ago, disney had little bottles of a grapefruit scented line. I really liked that scent. Have no idea what the brand was, but in the shower it smelled great. It's probably $50 a bottle, so don't matter of the brand, I won't spend gobs of money.

Slo, have a wonderful trip. We are going to miss you. Your polls are like the family chat around the dinner table.

I put use hotel 100% but usually bring a small bottle of my own just in case housekeeping forgets to leave one. That’s another reason I prefer the wall versions…less likely to be stranded without.

It depends. I always travel with my own shampoo and conditioner but there are a few hotels that we stay at on a regular basis that provide high end/high quality individual bottles and I’ll use those.

I almost always use the provided hotel shampoo and conditioner on myself, but my daughters both have super curly hair, so I have to bring different shampoo for them. I can't imagine what most hotel products would do to their hair!

I always bring my own just in case but usually end up using the hotel stuff, depending on the quality, although I'm not too picky about it. The shampoo/conditioner that I bring with me is usually leftover hotel products (stuff that I liked) from a previous trip anyway, haha.

Because of my hand eczema I do have to bring my own hand soap and lotion nowadays, however. Have always brought my own facial cleanser.

I bring my own most of the time. If traveling internationally I will either use the hotel products or buy locally upon arrival. I color my hair and some products make the color fade much faster than others.

Thank you very much ❤️ :goodvibes
I’m always so grateful that you and others enjoy participating with my silly little polls everyday ❤️

I seem to recall reading somewhere that it is better for your scalp to not use the same shampoo all the time. Hotel shampoo is my break from my normal brand.
