Pop Sockets have become hugely popular. I think everyone has one but me - LOL! In all seriousness, lots and lots of people have one connected to the back of their phone. They come in all sorts of colors and graphics, and some are really fun. For those that don’t know what Pop Sockets are, here ya go…..

If you don’t know what one looks like, I posted a picture below. So now that everyone knows what a Pop Sockets is and looks like, let’s pop into our answer today……

Do you use a Pop Socket?
If yes……do you have one or multiple ones?
If no…….do you think you’d want to try one?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..I do not own or use a Pop Socket. There’s something about it that seems like it would annoy me. My DD22 tells me that I should try it, because once I have one, I won’t want to ever use my phone again without it. My new phone case has the area for it, so when she’s home for Thanksgiving I may stick hers on my phone for the day to experiment with it. I may change my mind, but as of right now, I’m really thinking that it’s not for me.

I used to have a pop socket on my old phone case. It had its pluses and minuses. My new phone case has a built-in metal stand which is useful for watching videos. I don't need a pop socket.

I don’t have one, and have never used one, but have been considering getting some kind of grip to make it easier to take photos. I am a lefty so I am always concerned about dropping the phone while contorting to click the button on screen. It’s a toss up between the Pop Socket and the pseudo camera grip with shutter button right now.

Don’t have one, don’t need one. I don’t spend any more time on my phone than necessary; mostly calls, texting and infrequently taking a picture. I practically never use it to scroll the internet and I’ve literally never used it to watch media.

I have one, but I don't use it. I am not quite sure where it is really. I got one that is magnetic so that I didn't have to make it permanent. I am glad I didn't do it permanently because I am not a big fan.

I tried them in the past. I did like the wallet but it did break after a while. Definitely helped to stabilize my hand for taking photos etc. I switched cases where the new one I didn't think it would stick to it

Don't need a handle on the back of the phone. As some others have said I use it as a phone, may text on occasion or read emails when not at home. The screen is too small to watch movies so not anything I would ever do.

Mostly, I use my phone when away from home. When at home I use my PC to access the internet with its larger screen and full-size keyboard.

I don't have one mostly because I never liked the idea of putting adhesive on the back of my phone/phone case. I found a cute Disneyland phone case at Goodwill one time that had a broken pop socket on the back and the adhesive was a real pain in the butt to remove.

But now that they make magnetic ones, I might consider that. However, I'm assuming they have to go directly onto the phone and won't work through a case. If so, that's a dealbreaker. Just picking up a phone without a case makes it slip out of my hand.

I don't use one. I have a couple. Years ago they were a popular item given away by companies as swag to promote their business. None has ever been used.
If I am going to be on my cell phone for an extended time, I use my good old fashioned hardwired earbuds. You know, the kind that never need to be charged? I did have to buy an adaptor when I got a new phone that did not have a jack for earbuds that lets you plug the headphones into the USB port.

I've learnt something new today as I didn't know these were called pop sockets!

I don't have one and don't see why I'd need one, can't really see the benefit to using that to keep better grip on my phone. I don't really use my phone for long enough to want something like this.

The only thing I use to secure my phone is a lanyard, only when I'm out and about travelling and need to have easy access to my phone without risk of dropping it somewhere irretrievable.

Popsockets are NOT the same as earbuds.

They are something you put on the back of your phone to help you "hold" onto it.
