I love them most especially on a Greek salad. I don’t buy them for the house though as there’s just not enough room in the fridge with all the pickles and olives 🤣. Pickled okra is one of my favorites, mild or spicy.

I like them, buy them rarely because nobody else in the house eats them. I get the mild ones-for hot peppers I buy cherry peppers

If you go to Germany and order pepperoni pizza, guess what comes on your pizza? Ya, I learned that the hard way (my vote was "hot" and "no I don't like them." Quite a surprise when you are expecting US style pepperoni!!

😋 So good! I love these on sandwiches, salads, and pizza. Great with a cheese board. Unfortunately, with reflux, I can't eat them as much as I used to and I now stick to the mild ones occasionally. I also used to buy hot banana peppers years ago and also put hot sauce on just about everything. My Dad got me started on hot peppers growing up.

I like them just fine. I would probably opt for mild. The only time I really have them is when they come with pizza. I usually buy for banana peppers when it comes to jars for salad (mild is fine, but I like the hot a little more). I know they are not the same thing, but I cannot tell much difference, and people don't debate the pronunciation. :rotfl2:

It’s called an Italian beef or wedding sandwich and is a staple of Italian American cuisine.
All the roast beef places here do BBQ sauce or a 3 way BBQ sauce , cheese and mayo. I love all the other Italian American dishes so I need to try this one too!

At least this way it differs from roast beef by using a tougher meat cut that is braised to make it tender and flavorful.
I bought a bottom rump roast the beginning of this month and dedicated a part of it to making the sandwich meat.
Marinate in red wine with onions, thyme ( or oregano) and garlic overnight, roast, and then cut in thin slices against the grain. The peppers, celery, and more onions are cooked together and added to the sandwich with some giardinieria. Slamming!

I like them but don’t buy them to have at home. I do get them when eating out any time I see them offered.

On salads & sandwiches, I like either sliced pepperoncinis & banana peppers. For the spice level, I prefer somewhere between mild & super spicy - maybe just hot but not super-hot.

We buy whole pepperoncinis to make Mississippi Roast - in fact, that’s on our menu for next Wednesday. My husband may occasionally put one w/ a Bloody Mary too.
