I have the passport card. I think it expires next year, so I need to get that renewed. I used to have a full blown passport, but I ended up getting the card eventually because I never saw myself going further than Canada. I should probably get a full passport just to have it.

I've had several. My first was from 1984-1989. Second was late 2007. DH was being deployed to Afghanistan and I wanted to be able to travel in the event something happened. Renewed, and valid now. We've traveled to Scotland and to England on it (separate trips). Next trip is Ireland for DD's college graduation gift (Lord willing), and then Italy.

I had a passport, expired years ago, never used it. Maybe I'll get another some day. But running short on days here, haha.

Have had a fairly long time, used it once in 2013, to go to Niagara falls.....haven't used it since, and really hope to soon! Besides that walk across to Canada, I've never been out of the country, and dreaming of a trip to England....

I've never had one, but now that my youngest is getting older, we may want to go on trips outside of the US(could never afford to when my oldest was little) so it's on the list to get one for each of us.

I got my first one when I was 16 and I let it expire. Finally renewed it before my cruise for my 50th birthday.

First trip out of the country was over 40 years ago, got my first passport then and have pretty much kept it current to present day. As others have said, I don't want to miss an opportunity for a cool trip over an expired passport.

I have had an active passport for more than 25 years. I should have two, but I let my second country lapse.

I have always had a Passport and am very careful not to let it lapse. My kids expired during Covid as I wasn’t paying attention. Because of long waits as everyone was getting a passport last year it took forever and I had to reschedule our Disneyland trip many times. We finally went 2 weeks ago. Never will I let our passports lapse again.

I’ve had a passport for close to 40 years now. The first in 1984. It comes up for renewal again next year.

I forget: how soon before expiration can you apply for renewal?

Got one paid for by my employer since the job occasionally required travel outside of the US. My current job doesn't involve travel so will probably just let it expire. Have no other need for it.

I have the full passport and passport card. I got the card as a stand-in for Real ID, but when I renewed my DL last year, it is now Real ID compatible so I may just get the full passport when I renew. Mine expires in 2025, so I will have to renew next year. I am hoping things have settled down time-wise by then.

I've had a Passport since 1976. I spent July 4, 1976, the bicentennial in Russia!
Just makes everyday life here at home so much easier. When I switched jobs and had to prove citizenship, the Passport was all I needed. When I got my Real ID Driver's license, the Passport made it easier.
My kids have had Passports since age 3, and are in their 30's now. Made school registration, Little League and Soccer signups, and getting their first driver's licenses soooooooooo much easier.

I have one and have for 35+ years as I traveled overseas a lot for my job. My next renewal will be the first time I have to pay for as my company used to cover the cost.

I’ve had an active passport since 1999. Kids currently have passports as well. So glad we got them in early 2022 as the wait times now are ridiculous. We just went to Mexico and we like to cruise.

I've had mine since 2000 and keep it current, but we haven't traveled anywhere we "need it" for a while.

We’ve each had one for a long time. Last used it in May for our DCL EBTA cruise, Miami to Barcelona.

I've never had a passport and honestly don't know that I will ever have a full-blown passport. If I ever have the pleasure to travel outside of the US I will get a passport then.
