We did a couple of video chats with my cousins during covid but it was too confusing for me. Now I only do them when required for work, but we are pretty much fully F2F again, so unless I'm sick and will miss an important meeting, I don't video chat.

My life is Zoom meetings for work -- I'm thinking you mean more informal conversations, which does happen occasionally.

Since we moved away from them, we FaceTime with DS, DDIL, and DGD weekly. I also use Google Meet to chat with DD.

We use Signal on birthdays, mother's and father's day to chat with our Granddaughters and son 400 miles away.
Some of my Doctors do video visits, in software that is proprietary to their hosptiial group.
When our daughter was going to school in the U.K. we Skyped with her regularly. She is returning to school in German, not sure what platform will will use.
I am on the board of a non-profit and during the pandemic they switched from in person board meetings at a board members house, to Zoom. Some want to go back to in person, but Zoom is sooooo much more easier.

Only for work and my video camera is off as I don’t care for people to see my house as I’m working from home - one coworker hates that but my boss is ok with it that way and thsts all that matters
If the boss is cool with it, no issue. Our company policy required our cameras to be on as a condition of working from home. And to be honest, being able to see the people was critical to us as much of our communication during newscasts was visual, thumbs up type of things, with most people's mikes muted. Only mike open was the Directors during a newscast, and if they had a question or request, a simple thumbs up answered something without disrupting the audio.

I've done zoom/teams at work but I don't have a camera at on the computer. I also did a video chat for DAS for my Disneyland trip in May. Not sure if I will try again for my December trip, as it is unlikely I will qualify but I would like to get more information on the return to queue and other options.

I've never used facetime.

A rare Google Meet once in awhile with the grandkids. We regularly see them all so not much need. Microsoft Team some for business before retiring.

Just use a standard office-y background. You can google for Zoom work backgrounds.

Rarely (every few months) I have a video chat with a group of 3 other friends, some of whom have moved away.

My sisters who have grandchildren who live far away use it regularly to stay in touch with them.

FaceTime with our grandchildren if we don’t see them some weeks (very rare as all four are only 10 minutes away) and when we are away on vacation. They all like to check in with us when we’re away to see what we did that day. Also do a family Zoom every Christmas with my family in CA and SC.

I put sometimes but I have a monthly chat with my nephew and his family “across the pond”. I cherish them!
