It’s the day after Thanksgiving which means many of us like to go shopping to take advantage of those Black Friday deals. Even if you don’t live in the USA, you can take advantage of the deals online. There’s a lot of great deals right now, which makes for a great time to buy Christmas gifts. Is your pocketbook going to get a workout today? Let’s check out those deals and let us know today……

Will you be doing any Black Friday shopping today?

For Me……Yes, yes and yes! I still have to take a look to see what’s on sale, but there’s certain things I already know I’m buying. Some are gifts and some are for me. I’m not going out - it’ll all be done online.

WOOOOOOOOO!!! ITS HERE!!! I do have work at my convenience store for a few hours beforehand so I won’t be in the stores til just after 1pm. I do expect the coffee stand to be crowded.

Hit up one of my favorite stores yesterday online and checked out several others to see what deals they had all online shopping not going to any stores too cold 🥶 for me 🤣🤣

I only do online but not sure if there's anything worth my time and money today. Truth be told, I cashed in on some early Black Friday sales last week since many retailers started early and sometimes have better prices ahead of the big day. Economists were also suggesting the same.

I am not usually a Black Friday shopper, but I did go to 5 Below at 7:00 am this morning for the Squishmallow thing:

It was fun, and everyone was cheerful and courteous. I was in line with just a few others about 10 minutes before 7:00, and once it started, I was in and out in 15 minutes. I managed to fit 8 stuffies in the bag (🥇🙂) making them just over $3.12 each.

DH & DS's Lodge is doing a toy effort, and we have quite a lot on our list, so it really helped to get a few things on deep sale in case we go over on a few others.

I'm not Christmas shopping until after Dec. 5th as I'm working on meeting a credit card incentive (and companion pass deal) and want the bulk of the purchases to post to the January bill. However, I did check the Black Friday online deals, just in case there was something I couldn't pass up, but nope. Nothing I found on sale that I want to buy for anyone.

HOWEVER... I do have to go out to purchase some last-minute things for our family Thanksgiving dinner (which is Saturday evening). Normally I'd go to Walmart for these items, but that's a BIG NO today. It's well worth paying a tad more at the IGA or Hannaford grocery stores to save myself from the madness of Walmart on Black Friday!!

I went grocery shopping for all my holiday baking supplies but have no plans to shop today. I will be out shopping tomorrow for small business Saturday.

I don’t buy much these days. I do a stocking for DH and the girls. They are adults now and mainly want cash or GCs. I am hiring a house cleaner to do a deep cleaning at my parents as my mom has mentioned she struggles to do that and they don’t need stuff. My girlfriends and I now do a girls weekend instead of Christmas and birthday gifts. My friends daughter had a baby (first grandchild in our group!) so I will be getting a little something for her.

My wife usually goes out to shop on Black Friday, but for now, she's just shopping online - she might possibly go out later today.

I'm trying to do some online shopping, but sites like Best Buy are crashing this morning.

I’ve done the all night camp out in the cold for years to get the good deals I’m not doing it anymore I like to stay home and get on my computer and get them where it’s nice and warm and I don’t need to take an army with me to guard the cart and fight people to get all the good stuff been there done that not doing it anymore but y’all have fun hope you get some good deals

No, not a shopper here, Black Friday, Purple Wednesday or any other color of any day. If I want or need something, I'll go online and buy it. Really never 'go looking' to buy something.

No plans to participate this year. Though I did buy something at a local store this morning, but it wasn’t a Black Friday purchase.

No. We usually wait until December 15th to do our shopping. Even without Amazon Prime items are usually on our porch in three days or less.
This year is going to be tough. When you have multiple Grandchildren of the same gender with too many books, toys, clothes that have been handed down, their parents are at a loss to even make gift suggestions.
As for DW and I. We don't want or need anything, spent most of the year PURGING 40+ years of Christmas gifts given for the sake of giving, and really are dust catchers or have been in a closet for decades.
Funny thing is, we actually have the money for gifts. This was our first full year of just Social Security as our income, and had no idea how the year would shape up financially. Now we did dip into savings, as we did some major home renovations and repairs, (new siding, dual pane windows, drip irrigation system, security camera system, new HVAC ductwork, replaced dryer vent) but our day to day living expenses have been less than our income.

Not going out, might look on-line but I doubt I'll buy anything. Last year I got some really great deals just after Christmas so I'm looking forward to that. DW was up early and got some deals on Disney gift cards which will be used for DVC dues.

So...no Maroon Monday? Teal Tuesday? C'mon, you'll do Taco Tuesday won't you? ;)

Where did she find the gift card deals, @Micca? I'm always on the lookout to save some $$$ for my trips (although last trip, $550 mysteriously disappeared from my DGC! It was found and reinstated, but that was a pretty crappy 20 hours to end my trip...)

Bought a few things online for my grandson for Christmas. The puzzles were all heavily discounted, even the kids' digital camera was on sale. He's really the only person I buy Christmas gifts for!

Oh, and I did buy $300 of Disney GC online from Target for the $30 in rewards. Paid with my red card, so that's another 5% off.
