It depends. Sometimes I sleep through the night, sometimes I wake up to pee, sometimes DH snoring will wake me. I would guess I sleep through the night about every other day. Though I have more trouble staying asleep if we're traveling and I'm in an unfamiliar bed.

Most nights I’m up to use the restroom 2-3 times. The problem is the nights I can’t get back to sleep. Tuesday night was like this. Fell asleep about 930, woke up at 1130 and was awake until 1. Then woke up in a panic at 330 worrying that I forgot to finish payroll, luckily I could check this from home and payroll was complete. Was awake until 5. Then woke up again about 6 again to start the day.

The last time I slept through the night was 2 years ago when I was sedated and on a ventilator.
Having half your neck cut out because of cancer, 3 back surgeries and now a giant implanted aortic device is not conducive to sleeping lol.

I used to sleep through the night. It's a pleasant, but distant, memory.

I'm usually up 2-3 times/night. The last week I've been awake between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. nearly every night. My MIL shared an article with me about second sleep from medieval times -- they used to go to bed, get up after 4 hours or so, work around the house, and then go back for second sleep. It's an interesting thought. If I have trouble falling back to sleep, I've started getting up and working until I'm tired again.

Lifelong insomnia here. I used to have trouble falling asleep. Now with strict sleep hygiene rituals I've gotten pretty good at that, but I can't stay asleep. Wake up once for the bathroom and go back to sleep, but then in the early morning hours I just sort of doze, in and out of sleep several times. I hate it.

I typically sleep through the night. On the weekends I'll oversleep and have to wake up to use the restroom, before going back to bed.
The main problem is I don't always get enough sleep on weekdays. I have no trouble actually falling asleep.

I sleep really well and rarely have trouble sleeping, but I do always get up at least once during the night to use the bathroom.

I guess it depends on what you consider sleeping through the night. I need 10-12 hours of sleep per night, but it’s difficult to sleep that many hours without needing a bathroom break. I usually go to sleep for 3-4 hours, get up for the bathroom, and then sleep the remaining 7-9 hours straight through. Since 7-9 might be a full night’s sleep for someone else, I could say I do, but because I need more sleep, it’s not technically true. I don’t have trouble getting back to sleep, so long as I don’t turn on the lights.

Maybe once a week, I’ll sleep through the night. When I do wake up during the night, I have a very hard time falling back to sleep. My husband also wears a CPAP and has restless legs. The CPAP only bothers me if he’s facing me and the mask gets off kilter and the air blows in my face. His restless legs shakes the whole bed sometimes. Interestingly, he sleeps like a baby.

I never sleep right through the whole night, unless, for some reason, I were to go to bad much later than usual and get up at my normal time, around 6 AM. Usually up once or twice for bathroom pit stops.

I don't even remember. I used to sleep really well... but not lately. Sometimes it's just "wake up, look at the clock, go back to sleep" but it definitely isn't as restful as sleeping through the night. The worst are when you wake up and are like "wow! Great! I think I got a really good night's sleep last night. I feel like I slept soundly." Then you look at the clock and it's 12:38am. Well, maybe I slept soundly... for 90 minutes.

I also cannot remember the last time I slept through the night. I do take Magnesium Glycinate (has to be the glycinate form of magnesium) around dinner time which has definitely improved my sleep. I still wake up, but not as frequently and sleep a little deeper than I used to.
I’m going to start taking this to see if it will help me - thank you for posting about this 🙂👍🏼

I really can't remember. Wake up after a couple of hours, go to the bathroom, get back in bed and face the opposite way than what I was, rinse and repeat. It's gotten worse since menopause set in.

This has TOTALLY happened to me.
I just 🙄 and try to fall back asleep.

Ironically last night was the first time I slept completely through the night in years. The previous night I woke up at 1:30am(after falling asleep around 11pm) and never fell back asleep. I typically wake up between 3 and 4am and can sometimes fall back asleep for a bit but not always.

Well my oldest is 11, so atleast 12 years lol. I believe that having to get up to pee 11 times a night the last trimester is natures way of preparing you before the baby is born, for never sleeping thru the night again.
