Do you enjoy doing crossword puzzles?
If yes….how often do you enjoy doing them?

For Me……I enjoy doing very easy ones, so they are fun. I do not enjoy doing hard ones where I know only 1/3 of the answers (makes me feel kinda stupid - like when I watch Jeopardy - LOL!). I only do crossword puzzles on long road trips - I always have a crossword puzzle book, a sudoku book and a word find book. So, the last time I worked on a crossword puzzle was in October, and I’ll be working on them again this month thru May as we drive back and forth to DD19’s college (2 1/2 hour drive) almost every weekend. Truth be told…I’ll be working on the sudoku puzzles more than the crossword puzzles. I get so engrossed with sudoku puzzles that the time flies by - it’s great!

I enjoy trying to get one finished - it’s fun !!! I don’t go out if my way to find them but if I see one I give it a stab !!

I used to LOVE crossword puzzles, but it's been a very long while since I've done one. Used to look forward to the 2 in the Sunday paper, but when we stopped getting the newspaper years ago, I stopped doing them.

I like them, but I don't seek them out. I used to do the ones in the airplane magazines when I flew.

I go through phases where I'll do them. I prefer the challenging to difficult ones -usually on those where I get stuck, I wait a few hours or till the next day and the answers come to me.

Loved crossword puzzles since 5th grade. My teacher used them for quizzes. I was hooked ever since!

p.s. I found they really expanded my vocabulary growing up and I suggest them to anyone with kids who want to work on that with them.

I have a digital subscription to the NYT and do their crossword a few times a week (as well as wordle and spelling bee almost daily). I've always liked word games and puzzles, and I love being able to do them from my phone during those short periods of wasted time spent waiting for this or that.

My grandma did the one in the newspaper every day of her life. Whenever she babysat me, we worked on it together. I still love doing them. I prefer challenging to hard ones. I have a crossword app on my phone, and sometimes I buy the variety puzzle magazines.
