Slipper Dessert question?

I just called (407)824-7091, to order it for our CRT dinner and they did it for me, but told me they could not write a message on it. I told them I saw them in the internet with messages and they said it was only for the GF, but not messages for it in the MK. Does this sound right?

That is interesting...haven't heard that...but very disappointing...definitely will make me re-consider ordering it for my daughter at CRT...the writing was really the main thing that appealed to me!

The slipper dessert is a special order dessert not on the menu at either CRT or at any of the GF restaurants or room service only at the GF. The GF bakery makes them. It's $14 at the GF and $10.50 at CRT. You call GF bakery to have it there and you call CRT directly to have it there.

It's not covered under the dining plan. YOu must call ahead to pre-order it.

The one at CRT is a little different in that it comes with more berries and angel food cake.

Yes, it's white chocolate with moose inside and berries and the thing beside it is a chocolate boat with choc moose inside it. You do not get the chocolate boat with choc moose at CRT, only at GF. The CRT one comes with berries and angel food cake (and of course, the slipper).

the slipper dessert we had at CRT last year looked alot different then the photo above. Sorry i don't have the knowledge how to post a picture for you. But the slipper we had was made of white chocolate with chocolate mousse piped inside. It did not have the berries on top like in the picture. Our slipper was sitting on an Angel food cake "pillow" and there was a pool of raspberry sauce under that. There were also thumb-sized raspberries placed here and there on the plate. My 3 daughters and there friend ....... ahem and I... loved them! No writing or chocolate boats for us though.

Mimi wedding cake with Castle on top is only available through the GF bakery so only available at the GF.
