My daughter will be turning 11 on our vacation, and we have ADRs for dinner at Akershus. I know they have the slipper dessert at CRT and 1900 PF, but do they have it at Akershus? My DD does not care for cake, but loves chocolate and strawberries. Will they include fruit as part of the slipper dessert like they do at CRT? Any info would be appreciated:goodvibes

I believe the only places that you can get this dessert is at CRT or at any of the Grand Floridian restaurants, but I am not 100% sure on that. Hope someone else will come along and could confirm or deny what I just said.

I have ordered a number of special desserts through the years and basicly if you want to pay for it, you can make it happen. Check out the cake thread for numbers.

And if you don't get the answer you want, call, call again. Just because CM A says "no" doesn't mean it can't be done... (Although, I think I've seen delivery fees on cakes being $70+. So...be prepared?)

I have also heard there are only certain places that do the slipper. We had one for out daughter last year at Grand Floridian Cafe. It was ADORABLE! She was thrilled. It was a white chocolte slipper filled w/ mousse & everything on the plate was edible. They wrote "Welcome to Disney, Princess Morgan" in chocolate on the plate's edge & there was a chocolate Cinderella castle on the plate as well. The castle was flat on the plate...I thought it was part of the plate, but nope-edible... Disney magic! I believe it was $15. Worth every penny! She loved it!
Grand Floridian Cafe is a great restaurant. If you're not eating there, maybe just make a res. & go for dessert, if you can't get the slipper at Akershus.
Good luck!

Oops...the slipper did have berries, but I think it was raspberries. Also there was some kind of fruit compote kind of thing on the plate as well. Very fancy. But if you request strawberries, maybe they can do that

we ordered one from the contemporary for dd to enjoy at chef mickeys, after being told we could only get it from crt or the gf. when i ordered a cake for ds i asked a bout something special for her and was informed i could get the slipper dessert for her.

so you never know, you may be able to get one there for her. asking never hurts!

Call Epcot events and ask. They may say no, but they may not. In general these can only be ordered at CRT or the Grand Floridian.

I ordered one yesterday for my dd 10 to have delivered at the Garden View Tea Room. I called the cake number and they told me it would be $15 and I would pay there for it. She doesn't know. I can't wait to see her face.
