Slinky Dog wait...at rope drop?

The system crashed when we made our 60 Day FPs....so we didn't get Slinky Dog. Looks like the times came down and even at peak is only 90-120mins.....has anybody rope dropped it.....is it okay. Assume everyone has been running there first thing?? And 3rd week of Sept should be less crowded.TIA

It may be somewhat different if the park does not have EMH at 7 every day in Sept, but it will give you an idea.

Keep trying to get the FP. I booked my trip a couple of weeks ago for the end of August. Couldn't get a FP. Kept checking and finally got one yesterday!

The good thing about waiting for slink is the line moves pretty regularly. We found it more bearable to wait at nighttime to avoid the sun and heat. Truly, my only complaint about TSL is it is all outdoors....the line was often under an hour around later afternoon/early evening and also during fireworks. I'd try then!
